Can we win in the League for the first time or even avoid defeat away from home? I'm not feeling particularly optimistic. Any thoughts? If he plays the same formation as he did at Orient, I think we can all sit back and watch the goals fly in (to our net).

2-0 Colchester, Longstaff on the score sheet
This may be the game Hartley walks or is pushed

Always amused at the masochistic streak of some supporters who preach not only Hell and eternal damnation, but add those sad embellishment’s whereby the player we never signed (in their imagination) adds insult to injury by scoring against us.
It never happens ….. but adds to their arousal and anticipated pleasure.

At the same time all those calling for Hartley to be sacked never come up with a credible name to replace him.

and even if they did the guy would have his hands tied till january with the previous managers signings who might have actually only come to the club because of hartley himself. even merlin the magician aint going to get hastie, lacey and murray up to a standard we would need to insert a sell on clause into their contracts.

We get a shock win to paper over the cracks.
Then Molyneux probably tears us a new one next week.

I will be at Colchester hoping for a win shock/lucky whatever 3 points please, would have preferred Matty Longstaff to be in our side after his performances for Mansfield last year. What happened to the big 3 north eastern teams helping us out ?

Neither Umarah or Ndjoli are fit and Tumility instead of injured Sterry. I think the result is not in any doubt. Bugger!

Sylla is our best midfielder and should start
Hamilton not offering anything so far up front

Colchester look fairly poor also

Much better than I expected

Think we have stumbled on Sylla and niang at base of midfield working well tho niang needs to be careful on his tackling
Tumilty much better going fwd than defending
Hamilton has decent touch but too lightweight to play where he is playing
Need Ferguson ln for Patterson
Colchester are poor….v nice to see a side not obviously better than us
I don’t trust this defense to hold out a 1-0 if it gets physical at the end
We need to do sweepstake on what game Murray will win his first header in

well played pools....especially the 6 dog n duck lads...but hang on... does this mean we all have to wait till the next game for hartley and his sub standard jocks to be given their marching orders and sent back home over the border?...oh what a crying shame eh..

Utterly insipid. Bottlers.

Pools are a in a relegation battle. Make no bones about it. Another lucky dip lineup. Awful recruitment, completely imbalanced. Could have called this in pre-season… oh wait.
