Pooliebunker - the fillum

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

Brilliant. Who made it again?
I'd recommend a more stealthy plan than googling 'afternoon tea dog'.

It stands for 'Some monkeys blood?' , which all of the Poolie icecream men used to ask as they thrust a flake into the top of your 99 on their sortes behind enemy lines in the collieries

Albert Amerigo ! Always give you a box of Maltesers if it was your birthday. Of course you had to tell him first it was your birthday , which me and my mates duly did , at least 3 times a year.

Agree. Mind you , if you were cheeky to him he would sometimes grab your hand and squeeze it hard , used to hurt , was strong as a bull. Imagine that happening now? we used to just accept it and laugh it off. If you told your parents they would laugh and just say " you shouldn't have set your buck up ".

I've got my youngest asking for monkeys blood on her ice cream, confuses the shit out of the ice cream people here, and then takes some explaining from me!
