In days of old, when knights were bold, this particular knight was leaving for a crusade and called one of his squires: "I'm leaving for the crusade.
Here is the key to my wife's chastity belt. If, in 10 years, I haven't returned, you may use the key as I'm sure she will have needs."

The knight sets out on the dusty road, armored from head to toe. He takes one last look at his castle and sees the squire rushing across the drawbridge, yelling, "Stop! Stop! Thank goodness I was able to catch you. This is the wrong key."

Where will they tie their horses up at? It’ll be some trek on horseback over the Pennines, I hope there’s standing terraces as saddle sores are no joke.

Horses will have to be the same type as those used by the Knights in Monty Python's "Search for the Holy Grail" same as the horsies I had aged 4 to about 8 or 9 especially after a good western film. Gee up there horsie

Hope the local bus company can come up with a Dismount and Ride option.

God that would be utterly brilliant if someone did go the whole hog and had horse and everything. Not sure anyone would know how to cope with it all

When it comes to arguments about whether fancy dress is good or bad this should lance the boil.

Pele received an honoury knighthood, can I go as him? I'll go the whole hog, potentially upsetting folk, by dressing up as him after he's taken his erectile dysfunction pills.

Jimmy Savile was a knight of the realm. Reckon there will be someone who goes as him?

They'd certainly be no match for a inflatable mace with spikes..

Did they take a Death Star when they went as Imperial Storm Troopers and start destroying random planets? (mind you Featherstone does look like an Ewok).
However, it’s hardly the Crusades, If they set off with burning pitch and siege catapults then return with heads on a stick, then I’ll worry.
