Carlisle seek kick it out advice over fancy dress theme

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

So I've heard.. And you believe them? Conspiracy time: maybe they're saying they're going to put boot polish on their face to get a reaction from you lot, but in reality... They're not.

It's hysteria is all it is. One maybe two might have done it, but when they realised they were going to be the only ones I'd imagine they probably opted against it. I'll believe it when I see it.

Acting like what?

It has been suggested that if you turn up at Carlisle blacked up you aren't getting in.

It's like going to the Airport and deliberately not taking your passport.

I do tend agree with that.

But the hysteria is not really on here is it's people tweeting kick it out about a picture of Sol Cambell and calling people grasses.

At the same time the 5 people who did complain to kick it out need to have a night out and get drunk or have sex or something because it's equally hysterical and embarrassing. But the actual statement from kick it out was nothing but a plea people to not be fucking stupid. Where's the problem?

I can't comprehend how when this was being planned, these scenarios weren't discussed or even picked up on. With a mass of alternative options and the possibility of the subject being hijacked by the cerebrally challenged, it's a mystery it even came up on the radar and an even bigger mystery it was actually selected.

Apart from the smufrs the previous and only time I went in fancy dress I went as one half of mulligan and o'hare at Rochdale and can remember the sum total of about five minutes of the game I was hammered and fell on my face.

Have to agree, pools have been emailed about this matter and also monitor the boards but rather than just add a polite reminder to fans on the official website to not abuse the chosen fancy dress theme, just washed their hands of it. Absolutely no need to have kick it out doing the reminding in all the nationals.

Remember that, lovely sunny day when we threw it away... and all the fancy dress was individual choice.

That Mulligan and O Hare at Rochdale was fantastic !

Was that the last season everyone was allowed to think for themselves and just go in whatever outfit took their fancy ?

So cant people do that now then???
