At the end of the day, for me the problem is that there was never any intention to go blacked up, people jumped to conclusions and the hysteria that arose because of it has led the odd one or two to defend "the freedom of paint".
I don't believe anyone will go blacked up.

So I've heard.. And you believe them? Conspiracy time: maybe they're saying they're going to put boot polish on their face to get a reaction from you lot, but in reality... They're not.
It's hysteria is all it is. One maybe two might have done it, but when they realised they were going to be the only ones I'd imagine they probably opted against it. I'll believe it when I see it.

Have to agree, pools have been emailed about this matter and also monitor the boards but rather than just add a polite reminder to fans on the official website to not abuse the chosen fancy dress theme, just washed their hands of it. Absolutely no need to have kick it out doing the reminding in all the nationals.

That Mulligan and O Hare at Rochdale was fantastic !
Was that the last season everyone was allowed to think for themselves and just go in whatever outfit took their fancy ?

Well why not go and support some other team then??? Same old numpties always slagging pools off....... Why dont we all call in Pools before we go to carlise and ask them to dress us!!!! You would probably like that!

I've never really understood the concept of someone intentionally making themselves look fooking stupid in search of a 'bite'
