I've got some small concerns about the nature of the protest as I feel it's a little misdirected. A protest aimed at the owners is all very well, as is a protest at a JPT game. But a matchday protest, during a tough but very winnable league game, I'm not so sure. Anything that could have a negative effect on the team, no matter how small, leaves me a little uneasy.
But it's well intentioned, and it's good to see a little passion. Way better than drama tarts queuing up to try to outdo each other with their tales of just how long they've been a supporter and just how bereft and disenfranchised and disinterested they've become. "Never, in all my 85 years as a supporter, man and boy, have I ever felt so...." Oh do shut up.
Hopefully we'll see a reaction from the top and maybe a statement from Mr Hodcroft. Anything is better than silence.

Hands up here Monkeybutt, I rarely get to games these days
I did discuss heading up for this match with the wife - but due to financial constraints, couldn't manage it
will be hoping to get to a game at some point and WILL join the protest if there is one.

If this was aimed at me Mutley, again, I agree and for what it's worth I'm sorry.

If you are actually in Hull Mr Toe, I can vouch for how hard it is to get to games - I live on the east coast, 20mins away from Hull and it takes me a good 4 1/2 to 5hrs as a round trip to home games (£35 in petrol or £40 if I drive like a twat then tickets on top) and our area isn't exactly awash with cash...it's only been the last year and a bit that I've been in a position to go.

No notes from Hodcroft or Green today. Just from Cooper and Bates, just a textbook article from both though.

what will it take for people to really give a fuck?

Call yourself a supporter, pah, you could have made the trip with the kids, left them in the car with a juice and a biscuit for 2 hours and then headed back, simples
