lads passing by some kids playing football , and joining in with two teams of kids and blokes having a game of footy, but the blokes wearing their going-out gear, proper shoes and all that. Then one of the blokes kicking the ball and his shoe flyimg off at the same time, so that the kids seize the opportunity to retrieve the ball and go on the attack while the bloke gets his shoe back!!!!
When I was a kid, the blokes would bully us off the ball and beat us for the first ten minutes, until they were knackered then we would run rings round them. Especially if they already stank of drink!!!!

Them blue and cream fibreglass electric disabled carts that used to be round the edge of the pitch.

The letters at both ends of the ground where they used to hang the half time scores up and if you didn't have a programme, you didn't know which was who.

Well not for the past few months at least. Mind you it seems to be cyclical, for example I read yesterday that over the same time perion there has been an increase in flashing in the far east.

Odd.

Not sure with the spelling but Toni Bell Miniballs the little ice cream footballs with the bubble gum inside and hours of fun playing footy with the ball.
