what is your opinion regarding walnut whips?

Walnut whips no longer have a walnut inside the marshmallow. Neither do they do the old option of a coffee-flavoured version. Despite all this they cost 3 times as much money

cant find a youtube clip....

from wiki:
Mr. Dennis

A jumper-wearing, rather dull but highly strung newsagent and tobacconist, who doesn't stock Curly Wurlies as "they are far too elaborate". He is in cahoots with Lister, and they are both the co-founders of a consumer-product safety and hygiene standards group, NIPS. Mr. Dennis gets easily riled and at one point goes on a violent rampage around the set, punching Les and knocking Lister out.

That's how I remember them too.

But of course we're nowhere near as old as Ms G.

You can blame Mr Dennis for that too

"I don't stock Curly-Wurlies as they are far too elaborate, however I do stock Walnut Whips. But what I do is take the nut from the top and replace it with pigeon lime which I scrape from my Reliant which lives under a sycamore tree"

No, no....the nut on the top is still there. It's the nut on the bottom......
