If the players are just going through the motions as some are suggesting, including the manager, then that has to be worrying. The players have had tremendous backing from our fans this season and that in itself should be motivation enough to give of their best until the last kick of the season.
If lack of interest from the team spills over to the terraces then will the attendances also drop.
Very shortly the usual early bird activity on next term's season tickets will kick in and if the enthusiasm drops that will surely affect sales.
I actually said the other day that if the players have relaxed their efforts then why should I pay the i follow fee to either listen to or watch the rest of the games. I don't relish the thought of chucking good money away on that which is pointless. I can't be the only one.
You will be paying more for your season ticket next season so let's hope these players wake up from now until the end of season, the last few games haven't been acceptable. Even mansfield we got out of jail.
I won't be paying more for my season ticket cos I won't be buying one.
Fuel prices are killing the idea of funding a 200 mile round trip 23 plus times a season( including cup games etc) so the prospect of a hike in season ticket prices will do nothing to encourage me. I'll do Donny away and then buy i follow as and when.
