Bad feeling we will lose 1-0 and worse still the posters who only post when we lose will return.

Don't you think it's a good thing that all these posters you refer to only come on when we lose, Mr Tree.
Or would you prefer that they came on all the time with their whining, cos I wouldn't. Seems to me that the answer is keep winning and it shuts them up.

Yup I do think its a good thing, it just makes the misery of losing even worse knowing they will flock back.

BUT Daggers have two disallowed and some blurred mobile phone footage "proves" that both would have stood if VAR was operating at outr level. Much online moaning is unleashed despite the win because Pools should have lost which is as bad as actually losing when you haven't had a good grumble for weeks.

I wonder if Hemming will start? Mind you, it's not like Carlisle challenged him much. Plus Killip seems to be improving game on game now.

I just don't understand why we've brought someone in on loan with no intention of using them.

Killip already said it has gave him competition and made him up his game, his pick up in form certainly coincided with Hemming arriving.

We have had plenty of young keepers on loan and ever played them.

The xtra man in defence is certainly Taking the pressure of Killip. Tactical genius is our Higgy.
Just needs the goalkeeper coach to tell him to stay closer to his line a bit more.
I'm sure he will improve with more expirience and play at a higher level. ( with Pools.).

Sounds like we need hawkes on for kennedy to link play up front quicker.

Back to the drawing board then. Two home games coming up gives us a chance to get back in amongst the leaders.

Need to do something that we've been absolute shite at over the last 10 years n win 2 home games in 4 days.
If not then we non league for the foreseeable.

It’s sounds like we were deservedly beaten today it looked a tough game on paper against a team playing well, you can accept you will have days when you are second best away from home over a season the major frustration from our first eleven games is already the daft points we have squandered at home. We should have won last Saturday, Fylde was ridiculous that we didn’t win and even the Bromley game was really sloppy and one we should have taken something from.

It's that Oldham game I blame.

I blame the Oldham game partially but it’s mostly down to do gooders who can’t handle the truth and of course MadJohn.

a pools defeat away from home. hardly the most earth shattering news but at least they have something in common with manchester city now.

On paper a couple of decent home games coming up, will settle for 4 points which will keep us within striking distance.

Nobody came out of this game smelling of roses unfortunately.

We looked laboured and unimaginative. Long balls over the top for Donaldson to chase, Toure looked tired and frustrated, Gus breaks things up well but nothing much more, Noble had another bad delivery game and really shouldn't be expected to take EVERY set piece.

Cunningham probably the best of the central three, Kioso wasn't as assured as I'm used to and was turned inside out for the third, Kitching solid. Killip has to accept he was at fault for the second.

Josh Hawkes probably created more in his cameo than anyone of the Pools starting 11, I'd be tempted to freshen the midfield with him or Holohan in for Noble or Kennedy. I'd also be tempted to give Toure a rest, for some reason nothing he tried worked on Saturday and he was getting more and more frustrated, I know saying resting your top scorer sounds a bit odd, but I think he'd benefit from a swap with Kabamba for at least the next home game.

Dagenham weren't anything special, but created chances and took them, they seemed to be comfortable letting Pools have the ball and breaking against us.

All in all a bad day at the £21 a ticket office, but nothing shocking. I expect Kerr to be out for a month or so, but we have a ready made replacement in Myles Anderson.

We need to win these next two to build on a good last month or so, failure to do so and we'll be wallowing in mid table obscurity forever more.

Hope we can bounce back! Nice finish from Donaldson but I can't help but feel we can never put a game to bed, late goals always seem to come our way (granted we didn't deserve to win anyway)

Cheers for report, thing is with Toure is he always looks frustrated, even that home game where he bagged 2, he looked constantly pissed off with himself. You would think he would do better away from home due to his pace being more useful on the counter etc but seems to do all his scoring at home. Id be more tempted to give him a couple of days off from training mind rather than miss a game if a rest was indeed needed. Did he have the blue tape on his hamstring again?

Imagine Hignett defo change things up now, its hard to change the team when your winning / unbeaten etc so this will give him that chance. Seems harsh to drop Donaldson when he scored a couple and not done much wrong but its not his best position but cant see him suiting to play in our midfield either. Could go back to wing back and move Kioso in for Kerr I guess and put Kabamba up top with Toure. Wouldnt be surprised to see Holohan in for Noble or Kennedy either. Not sure the formation is suited for Hawkes but suppose Kennedy plays quite far up and would give us some more mobility.

All good decisions to have!

Still feel 4 points will be fine from next 2 games, keeping pace with the top 7 will do fine for now, our strength and depth will see us push on towards the back end of the season surely. (and with Molyneaux returning and maybe Williams)

Yes Toure was heavily tapped on his left hamstring.

Terrible defending especially the first goal, literally freedom of the pitch, help yourself to a goal mate. FFS! Second not much better, need to tighten up at the back big style.
