...bottom of league 2. What's going on there?. A city with a population of 257k, and could be non-league next season. Was it 7-1 they drubbed us a few years back at the Vic?. Thank heavens for financial stability.

1994, it was 8-1. You can't exactly blame Ridsdale completely he wasn't the start of it.

I was there that day and stayed till the end with my dad. Shilton was the manager that day as well and didnt Dalton score for them?

Yep, Shilton def manager and I think Dalton might have scored.

We had a bonny on the Mill House Terrace that afternoon, do you remember seeing that Mr Comp, it was more fun than the match?

Yep, a bonfire of course.

Started off with burning the anti-Gibson banners and ended up full of season tickets, random strangers joining in chucking their season tickets on the fire.

I remember when younger seeing Newcastle Utd matches on the regional news with several bonfires blazing during the game, on the then huge Gallowgate terracing. Health and Safety wasn't considered in those days.

I remember us having a nice big bonny at Darlo. Can't remember the year.

Someone was handing out free newspapers outside the ground and the rest just happened!

the takeover at Plymouth has really dragged on, but apparently the ownership of the ground is now sorted - and that was the first hurdle to overcome. The council are now supposedly the landlords again and will charge the club a nominal rent in the future. A local businessman is both the administrator's and fans' preferred option over a Ridsdale-led consortium. I hope that happens, and the white haired wart faced parasite doesn't get anywhere near another football club ever again

I think Ridsdale is only in there in a type of "shotgun" scenario, running it for the administrators until a buyer is found.

Just after McLaren resigned at Nottm Forest and their chairman said he was standing down Ridsdale actually offered his services to them to help them sort the so called financial difficulties out.

Only link I can find to prove I didn't make that last bit up.
