I started watching it when it first started, but for some reason we stopped watching it - I don't why exactly.

You tend to get frustrated though with somebody who get's low marks when you think they perfomed well, particularly from Craig Revel-Horwood.

I agree, that does frustrate me

Poolie of Kent · **Posted:** Fri Sep 18, 2009 3:10 pm

You compare the marking between Len Goodman and Craig Revel Horwood and sometimes the gap is massive.

Compo · **Posted:** Fri Sep 18, 2009 3:11 pm

PoK next time you watch it and the old bloke who is marking gives a 7, listen to how he says it "Sevvvvvverrrn"

Poolie of Kent · **Posted:** Fri Sep 18, 2009 3:12 pm

I know he says that in a funny way.

I totally agree. I turned the tv off in disgust a couple of times last series. It is disgusting the way Craig Revel Horwood talks about them. They try their best and deserve credit not criticism.

I will be watching tonight. Cant wait. Probably the most gripping tv since the womens football final.

I agree, it is a massive gap

But what can we do?

Tactical voting is rife in all of the best competitions, eurovision, come dine with me etc etc

It's just something we'll have to get used to i'm afraid, these shows are too damn good for us to let this bother us.

Eurovision has been around for longer than i can remember, in future i may just ignore the votes, possibly do my own votes and my own winners, that will ensure a fair show in future.

Compo · **Posted:** Fri Sep 18, 2009 3:27 pm

I didnt know Len Goodman and Craig Revel Horwood were from Balkan countries

Thats not a bad idea yubep! We could try it out when strictly is on this saturday and do our own votes. We could put our scores on here and 'average them' and see if we come to the same conclusion as the judges/audience!

We could do with finding as many people on here as possible to take part as it will help prevent skewed results.

When the revolution comes, anyone, that's anyone, associated with this travesty of a programme will be taken outside and shot.
TV will be replaced with two channels, on channel one will be live footy and on channel two will be a man telling you to turn back to channel one.....come the revolution.

It's series 7 or something and I'm still waiting for anyone to do a real salsa, merengue or bachata, including the so called professionals.

Gibsons Beard · **Posted:** Fri Sep 18, 2009 8:05 pm

only 25 mins to go

You've got the job! You'd be advised to use dumb-dumb bullets in view of the audience's IQ.

They just talk bollocks, they don't actually have any.

God, I'm gonna miss Strictly ....

Anywho, America's Got Talent has just finished here, and on the final show there was a performance by Susan Boyle singing a fantastic version of the Rolling Stones' Wild Horses. She was amazing.
