Been leaked the NMW is going up 4% to £13 an hour.
Non funded from the government but they will be expectingxtra taxes coming in.
Can see employers just cutting staff for the same workload output so they have to work faster/harder. Seen that happen in factory life.

Expect a mega rise in Food Inflation again.
But on the BBC website you Gunna be ok if you eat marmalade n gherkins.
Apparently £21 a year better off.

Ironic how the politicians with their bloated egos, are cockily telling us that they’re increasing the minimum wage, is bollocks.
They aren’t coughing up Jack shit, they’re just making the employers pay.
Politicians never lose face…..they all have two as standard.

They could rake in even more by getting these lazy bastads of massive benefits.
And make them work instead of the luxury life of shirking.

If governments can freeze workers wages by freezi g the tax thresholds for 10 years.

They can freeze benefits for 10 years.

Like I previously said being unemployed in the 80's was fucking brutal.

Better than expected.
£100 energy winter payment
Gas Standing Charge to be scrapped sometime next year ( with plans to do the same further down the line wirh Leccy)
No vat on Leccy extended to July
Cash isa limit staying at 20k a year.

Not converting from Reform

Just stating better than expected for now but Inflation will likely wipe out any mini positives from April via higher shop prices and c tax nailed on up by 5%
UTR.

£100 energy winter payment
- Only for those Band A - D.

Gas Standing Charge to be scrapped sometime next year ( with plans to do the same further down the line wirh Leccy)
- Will be added to the charge per unit used.

No vat on Leccy extended to July
- Big deal!

Cash isa limit staying at 20k a year.
- It should have increased due to inflation, as should the tax thresholds.

THIS IS OKAY/BETTER THAN NOTHING, AND MOST PEOPLE LIVE IN THESE BANDS.

Gas Standing Charge to be scrapped sometime next year ( with plans to do the same further down the line wirh Leccy)
- Will be added to the charge per unit used. MY GAS STANDING CHARGE IS .58p A DAY. THROUGH MOST OF THE SUMMER I BARELY USE ANY GAS AT ALL, SO PERSONALLY AS A LOW SUMMER USER I WELCOME THIS, OR THE OPTION TO HAVE IT.

No vat on Leccy extended to July
- Big deal!
BETTER THAN NOTHING. IVE NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHY WE ARE TAXED ON A NECESSITY.

Cash isa limit staying at 20k a year.

My replies above in capitals.

I agree re tax thresholds, this is the biggest ripoff of them all.

The gas standing charge is worded on the BBC website.
Will be scrapped in 2027(or as soon as possible after).

So maybe /probably 2028

Confirmed by Martin Lewis to be Oct 27 or Jan 28.

Some woman on the news saying January's expected gas/Leccy to rise by 16% while he says 26%.

So basically this £100 is fake/dead money

Also private renters are in for a major rise.

Anyone seen the latest Billy Moore YouTube video in Paris.
What a fcuken cesspit of scruffy migrants pissing shitting n masturbating on the streets.

And reckons it's all coming our way.

Anyone under 40 now basically has no future.
Sad but true.

Interest on savings increased to 24% up from 20% in 2026/27 it’s not actually encouraging anyone to save money. You might as well spend, spend, spend that is if you have any spare cash.

They are doing all they can to end Early Retirement to keep taxes high.
But look after the non ambitious.
A dead country becoming to small for the illegal population which will lead to cesspit towns.
The real life videos are all on YouTube.

Plenty of Cameras about.

Plenty of bagheads now got hard as fuck breed protection dogs
Hope they feed them properly otherwise they won't be fit for purpose.

Burnhams view on an election has gone down from 3 years to 1.

If Labour win a snap election they can rip up the current Manifesto and change Income Tax from 20p to 25p or even higher.

Just keep that in mind workers when the GE arrives.

Dead right! I believe if you have two arms and legs you should have to work for your benefits, there's plenty of streets need cleaning, parks to maintain, etc etc. Even if some firms took them on to learn a trade whilst receiving benefit money, then we would weed out the shirkers from the genuine people who want to work for a living.

The UK's overall tax burden has reached its highest level since the post-war era—projected to hit around 36.9% to 37.7% of GDP—not because peak income tax rates went up, but due to "fiscal drag" caused by frozen income tax thresholds.
No mention of the income tax threshold being raised or mention of the triple lock, looks like we are stuck with the threshold until to 2030, at the least it should have been increased for pensioners many who are falling into income tax threshold.

The workers might be outnumbered by the shirkers including the ones in inwork benefits, like turkeys they are not going to vote for Christmas.

In Scotland, Higher tax rate comes in at £31,093 (£37,701 in the rest of the UK). At that point the Personal Savings Allowance drops to £500 and the tax to be paid on that savings interest will be 44%.

It seems to me that he's preparing for a snap election so that he can rip up the present manifesto, up taxes for everyone, and start the re-joining the EU process. As has been said in the media this was a very bland budget with the big sweetener for many of the £100, the raising of NMW which many will say is a good thing but it won't be for those who lose their jobs because of it, no pain for the benefit scroungers while not caring about pensioners because not many vote Labour.
These are very worrying times as the polls predict that he'd actually get a working majority for another 5 years if he called a GE today.

This is where ISAs come in. Stick your savings in an ISA and shield yourself from savings tax.
