really what did we expect. you can hope all you want but realism has to come into it sometime. until we have just the odd player out injured or suspended and everyone player in the squad capably of doing 90 minutes then we will continue to struggle. i would never have retired if i could have done half a weeks work for a full weeks pay. a real piss boiler when pro footballers get away with this.

When Charman went off he should of brought Hugil on then, him and harris seem to play well together........Popov offers nothing to the team, far to weak!!!

popov has something we have criticised others for not having. he has energy and tries even if there is little end product in it. at least you know he is on the pitch and the type you hope will succeed in the game.

He was put clean through soon after he came on and couldn't sort his feet out to get a shot away. It's like watching a schoolboy footballer a lot of the time.

Fitness of the players

Its not that they are unfit its because they are not good enough as individuals with any skill to let the ball do the running so because they are not skill full enough they are all ways chasing the ball.

Popov is the prime example

As soon as I saw the name Smith in goal for us last night I knew we'd get beaten, the blokes last 10 games in goal for us must've resulted in a defeat, what a farce.

I switched the telly off after conceding the first goal as you could see the inevitable was going to happen. We were running around like headless chickens and could keep the ball for more than a couple of passes then hooooof!!! lets get rid. It's eye wateringly awful to watch. The rot has well and truly set in, it's going to be a relegation battle and anyone who thinks we can reach the playoffs needs to see a shrink.

I'm afraid that this squad is just about good enough to avoid relelegation but most must be scattered next summer if promotion seeking is the order of the day.

How could you blame the keeper for last nights result?? I fail to see what he did wrong!!! He is not a good keeper, but he was not to blame for last night...

Have you watched the first two goals, the ball goes straight through him, particularly the second, he doesn't pull of any impressive saves, he's 33 not 43 so isn't old for a keeper, and yes he wasn't solely to blame, particularly the second as Clark basically gives the ball back to the forward, but his shot stopping is awful.
