makes sense as he played under Wild at Halifax, I think he was on loan at Spennymoor before becoming a regular in the Halifax side.
Went to Walsall and I am sure he had almost 12 months out due to an injury but that was few years back.
Hopefully the start of changing our midfield.

Good news if he is an improvement on what we already have. Any detail on him and his capabilities?

Signed for Barrow June 2025 but hasn’t featured according to Wikipedia, still under contract so it’s either a fee or a loan, cruciate injury kept him out for the whole of 2023, he can’t be any worse than we have though.
According to our ‘local’ rag The Mail on FB Pete Wild is aiming to bring three players in before Monday - and hopefully at least one prior to Saturday's trip to Forest Green Rovers - he is looking to strengthen the spine of the Pools team with short-term loan deals for experienced players

And there's the answer to Landon Smith's current attitude to Pools. He's giving Pete Wild the backing he needs to turn things around. Worth a lot more than empty promises via Twitter or the OS.

Earing played 30 times for Walsall in League 2 last season but lost his place at the back end. His career stats are here: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jack-ea ... aison/2026

Played 30 games for Barrow last season in league 2, 23 starts, with 1 goal and 2 assists. Barrow finished bottom and got relegated.

Not going to pretend I know the first thing about but given he got 2 assists I’m going to say he’s at least better at passing the ball than Hunter and Sheron are.

Before you get carried away Mr H, we are desperate for additions to our midfield and have been for what seems like an age and finally we have signed one. Landon has to approve that but to suggest it is instead of personally communicating with the fans, or is a substitute for it, is getting a bit carried away don't you think.
What if he is a flop, are you going to land that at Landon's doorstep.
As the owner Landon has multiple tasks.
One of those tasks is approving expenditure on players, and another is fufilling his belief in the importance of communicating to the fans.
As an aside........I don't think anybody is stating they prefer empty promises via Twitter or the OS to correcting or at least trying to, correct our deficiency in midfield.
Can you enlighten us as to the empty promises Landon has made on Twitter or the OS. :o

Tsk. I didn't say he had. I expect we might hear from him next when Pools have finally turned the corner on this run of horrible results.

They need to start working.
Hit the ground running.
League table on New Year's Day will be the evidence.

UTP.
