"Recruiting becomes easy. I don't think there's one player that's been put to Lee that he doesn't like because ultimately his philosophy is what the football club's philosophy is, otherwise he wouldn't have been recruited through a lengthy process of numerous amounts of people from different backgrounds. That's the easy bit and then in terms of the actual process, it probably takes around 30 hours per player to get to that point. So that comes from football club fit, head coach fit, financial fit, culture fit, all these bits that go in. They've got to tick all the boxes otherwise they don't come through the door and it's quite complex."

Would we have wanted him as a manager of Pools? I think not!
But he was/is overseeing how the playing side of things are put together.

So how come it went so wrong so quickly?

Does the performance of the players warrant having Chris Maxwell involved?

Surely having a decent manager on a decent wage would serve a better purpose who recruits his own players.

I have no confidence in the way the club is being run.

Part of the Bromby package ex goalkeeper, maybe he could step back in between the sticks again to solve. Pools keeper issue. Top and bottom none of the Bromby team have any knowledge of running a football club, they are novices just a start up company formed in January, beyond me how Smith was taken in by them or were they the cheapest option more so who recommended them, Lee Rust ?

Bromby and partners are also linked with Derby County currently third bottom of the championship.

Well at least they’re consistent unfortunately.

Given our aspirations at the start of the season, kicking off with last seasons problematic midfield and a manager with Lee Clarkes record/reputation was nothing less than incompetent.

Maxwell should be out of the door asap.

Can we please return to appointing a manager who runs the show rather than all these Klingons doing what exactly..? Because whatever they are doing ain’t working, get shot and save some cash into the bargain……

Which is a good reason for not expecting them to get us out of it.
