Just a thought I had this morning while sitting in my mother’s basement. What if after the lads play like a pack of tossers on Saturday and Lee Clark inevitably gets the boot we bring Solman in.

Let’s face it, it’s looking like we’re more likely to be in a relegation fight than gunning for promotion the way things are going. Although Sol has been out of the game for a few years now he did a terrific job galvanising Macclesfield when they were dead and buried underneath the stadium. And if as Lee Clark says the budget has indeed been spent, Sol has proven astute operating in those conditions. Okay so Southend didn’t go so well, but they’re a basket case as well, there was no saving them.

He’s got a reputation for not being the easiest to get along with, but he’s been trying to change his ways in recent years. And besides, maybe these clowns could use someone to give them a good kick up the arse!!

And worse comes to worst and we do go down, we’d undoubtedly give Dario a good hiding. Other than Figo, Sol probably made the most infamous move in football, and thrived in those derby situations.

Just a thought. I wouldn’t mind seeing that man on the sideline at the Vic. It might help with this constant nauseous feeling I have every other Saturday when I tow up. I mean, just look at him in that picture there. Aura personified.

Bloody sol Campbell. Read some tripe on here absolutely drivel. What has he done to prove himself as a promotion winning manager, other than having a nice ass?

Id give it Clarky till end of the season see how we go, period of stability is what we need. However, if a change was needed a manager I would be gunning for is Fabrizio Ravanelli, aka the white feather. We were linked a few years ago, disappointed to miss out, touch of class and has played at the highest levels .

in the past i do think we have ditched managers too early but clark is in the hartley and sarll mould where quicker he goes the better.
