Anyone else find it strange that none of the backroom staff
have taken the opportunity to offer support publicly to Lee Clarke ?

Chris Maxwell, Chris Beech, Adam Clayton and Gary Liddle have
all had an input into this shitshow yet the message they are giving out is they are
quite happy for Clarke to carry the can.

Even Landon Smith has avoided saying “He has my full support” which usually
means he will be sacked at the earliest opportunity.

Looks like @LandonSmithTX was a fake account on X as who ever it was has stopped posting.

Clayton and Liddle will be keeping their heads down because they are responsible for Pools' bog standard coaching along with Clark. Anyway they're only going to front up after games if Clark asks them too.

Beech and Maxwell will be concentrating on the the behind the scenes chat with the owner and looking to hang onto their own jobs when Clark is ditched - anything less than a win on Saturday and that will be by Monday I reckon.

If Maxwell has half a brain he will be tapping up a replacement to step straight in so the job doesn't have to be advertised again.

How much in salary are the afore mentioned costing the club, do Pools require so many back room staff ?

I don't reckon there's any money left in the takeover pot to replace these failure employees.
Can see Smithy honouring all contracts then do a bit more due diligence for future employment.

And that will create lost revenues from lower crowds.

We stuck in no man's land unless Smithy has a few rich mates who believe in a Wrexham style fairy tale.

We need to not write off the FA Cup for a change.

Look what happened at Lincoln a few years back.

It laid the foundations to were they are now with good reinvestment decision.

We don't know ANYTHING about the status of the 'takeover pot' or what is actually behind the current slump - and how the owner plans to get us out of it. All we have heard is the childish outbursts of the head coach and a few comments from the players trying to be positive. Landon Smith needs to break his silence and tell it like it is. The long suffering fans deserve this at least.

he has a big problem though if he does open his mouth. he,ll either have to back clark or sack him. he will possibly be thinking he,ll keep his gob shut until either we improve or things get worse where action is needed.
