Funny how we have a match that’s so important this early in the season.
Will we suddenly turn a corner and come good or can we expect more of the same ?
I see nothing on the horizon to say we’ll suddenly turn a corner with these tactics and because we seem to get worse each week.
We don’t have the time to spare to see if things eventually get better because we’re slipping away from the top cluster, even at this early stage, hoping for better results by closing ranks is a waste of time.
The references to social media comments is wide of the mark…fans can only respond to what they see on the pitch….and fans ain’t stupid.

Agree unless they win and play well after Wednesday we need a change both manager and B&P running the show. Bring in a proven manager like Maynard give him a free hand and hope we are not already lagging to far behind to catch up and overtake a few teams.

By Clark's own admission the Kidderminster game was the worst Pools have played this season. If the team comes out fighting and gets as much as a point out of the Alty game that's one thing.

On the other hand, if they're as supine as they were on Saturday and sleep walk to another defeat, there's no escaping the fact that a change will have to be made - even to the people who appointed him.

Agree with all the above although I have some concerns regarding Maynard's ability to work a miracle. He took over at York when they already had an excellent team who had narrowly missed out on promotion. They had a fairly settled team that had been together for over a season. He only had to do a bit of tweaking and the job was a good un. Contrast that situation to the ongoing shit show which is Hartlepool United. I suspect the best we can expect from the Alty game is a turgid draw and the most likely outcome will be another loss.

I'd like to think some off our forward players went mental in the Kiddy dressing room about how pure shit the service was and we get a response to it.

I like to think of Social Media as customer feedback.
It’s the ‘customer’ telling the supplier what they want….and what they don’t want.
The customers it appears are unhappy with what’s on offer…ignore it at your peril.

My guess is that as and when Landon has something to convey to the fans regarding the current situation he will make an announcement via the Official Site, not skulk around on Twitter as the sooo obviously fake Landon would have everyone believe. Since he took over the club Landon has gone out of his way to get the fans onside, releasing several key statements at crucial times, letting the fans what they want to hear. He even provided fireworks and bought everyone a free drink FFS!

I suspect that Wednesday will represent Clark's last chance to at least start to turn the tide - and he will know that more than anyone. A draw will probably keep him in a job until Saturday when the home crowd (what remains of them) will let him, the 'Committee' and Bromby have the full barrels of discontent should the recent feeble efforts be repeated against Worthing.

Altrincham lost 5-1 on Saturday to a team near the bottom of the table.

If we cannot scrape a win, the situation really is desperate!

Altrincham will have had a good bollocking, extra training and will be 100% determined to bounce back and win this game in front of their own fans. Pools? Away form not too clever and playing with a growing injury list, a dodgy keeper and a manager who if his recent interviews are anything to go by, has lost the plot. If I was a betting man I would put a few quid on a home win. Yes the situation really is desperate. Hope I am proved wrong but even if we do scrape a win, it will only paper over the ever widening cracks.

Expect Tom Crawford to control the midfield for Altrincham. Out of curiosity would be interested to know how many touches of the ball Sheron had against Kidderminster. Miley will be his usual self no doubt, turning and facing his own goal when in possession, rarely if ever making a forward pass. Expecting a comfortable win for Alty, though I hope I'm wrong.

Miley like many others looked promising on his arrival but like many promising signings seems to be regressing in a Pools team.
Sheron has gone so far backwards that he really shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11, his pass completion ratio must be horrendous with him mostly relying on just hoofing the ball anywhere.
Benn, John, both don't look anything like the players that first arrived.
Nolan looks to be either carrying an injury or not bothered.
Harris is looking pretty ordinary.
McNally is well off the form he showed before last season's injury.
We're masters at turning good players into poorer ones.
I'm not expecting anything out of this match other than another drab showing by Pools and a defeat.

Our ‘midfield’ has all the imagination and drive of your average Subuteo midfield…….it also doesn’t seem to work even with a kick up the arse.
How long before the penny drops with those in power that we have a midfield that could be liable under the Trade Descriptions Act for impersonating a midfield….everyone can see the problem, but nothing changes, I’ve never been so concerned so early in a season …… when will the penny dro…?

Nothing was ever worse than the hartley weeks and what we are seeing this season is just a rinse and repeat of our second spell in non league football. just cannot see clark going just yet. the injured players will be back eventually and we have not long to wait before we lose our one and only seasonal FA cup game. got a feeling he,ll be able to talk his way out of anything and if he had been jack the ripper and caught he,d have been given a free pardon and compo.

Do those in power see the world through a different prism, because no matter how smart the suit is you put on a horse, it’s still a fecking horse.

i,d say yes on any subject you want to bring up and shows up well in politics and football. the horse would be telling its rider what to do if it had been to university or took its coaching badges.

Aye, they’d probably produce a thesis based purely on theory, proving a horse can be a coach……practicality however will kick it up the arse.
