We have scored 5 and conceded four.
Only four of our goals contributed to our three wins and the four conceded contributed to our three losses.
You don't expect to get nine points from four goals, nor do you expect to lose nine points by conceding four goals.
It is unreal in my opinion.
I know we have missed chances in our various games but, that apart, if Dinanga had converted his Pen and Woking had taken just a couple of their chances we would be sitting with four points.
On the other hand if we had taken a few more of our chances we would be sitting on top or very near it.
Fine margins.
Funny old game.

Strange stats which Deffo won't happen from the next 6 games.

For me weve rode our luck to get to 9 pts even counting the freak result v Eastleigh.

Performances so far are way below expectation.

But with this Pools team just expect us to be unpredictable.

Next 2 games are massive which could produce
0
1
2
3
4 or 6 points.

It's a headbuster being a Pools Fan lately.
Was expecting a new Ownership kick of improvement by now.

I estimated Pools would be on 9.27 points after 6 games.

And after the results and performances so far, we are on course to finish outside the playoffs again!

Big improvement needed!

exactly, we are playing catch up again and to get the points i want, 12 points in the next 6 games means we need 15 now which aint going to happen. it might be early days but the points you get from a win is still the 3 you get later in the season. eventually you get to the situation that never happens where we say if we beat so and so and so and so we,ll go up or get into the play offs if others lose there games.

The majority of seasons mathematics of win our last 7 games keeps the season alive.
Then reality kicks in.

Can remember winning our last 5 games to qualify for the play-offs offs about 25 years ago.

That was division 4.

We currently underachieving big style.
Unreal that our support is still decent.

Absolutely take 7th at this moment in time just to restore a bit of pride n respect.

Support surely becomes a 2 way thing.

the size of our support hardly matters a jot these days. its about time everyone starts to realize that. its a pity as that should be the main thing plus a good coaching and recruitment staff. now its the era of the multi millionaire owner and buying success.

Something that IOR did to some extent, and probably what Landon is trying to do also within his own constraints.

I don’t n mind them buying success for established well supported clubs, but all this pumping money into the 1000k supported newcomers is crazy.

Theres plenty of shit supported teams that ain't bankrolled.
And regularly finish above Pools.

I just reckon it's about time we stepped up to compete in what is a pure shit standard division.

Opinions eh.

we would all buy pools id we had enough money to waste and make the club a success. however i know if i could not i,d only buy an ex league team like workington or chester and those traditional non league clubs down south could do one. what gets me is why they do it and at least those other yanks bought wrexham. it could have been worse with another plasrtic club coming to the fore.

If nothing is done and we carry as we are, it wouldn't surprise me if the next three games are fruitless. I sincerely hope not,

I feel the same. I've only been to one live game so far and I won't be going to another until it changes. I am beginning to regret buying a season pass to Dazn, cos it's getting to the stage where I don't want to watch it.
Something has to be done and quick before the Vic becomes an echo chamber.
I like Landon and I believe his intentions are genuine but he has some big decisions to make because I think he has severely been let down and only he can remedy the situation we find ourselves in.
Good luck with that, Mr Smith.

a defeat at alty and given the opposition and the stupid KO time it would not be a shock for the gate to drop under 3,000. for some owners the drop in attendances and the lack of revenue coming in can be the deciding factor in the steps they will make.

On the bright side, you can turn it off and be home within a second, no hassle. :D
We have a ‘ meeeeja’ room upstairs (two chairs and the dogs watching)…half times a bit boring like. Asked the wife if she’d consider a catering service to recreate the half time period…she told me to ‘recreate’ off…..

I've not attended a home game this season, basically because I'm not convinced the side is worth watching, am I being too critical?, listening to all of the games on the radio it is obvious we can't retain possession for longer than 5 seconds, why is this?, it's a staple ingredient of good football, I'm sick already of commentators saying so and so has possession quickly followed by "he's given it away", Kidderminster had possession for long periods and we never did, as did Sutton, Halifax and to a lesser degree Aldershot and Eastleigh, luckily for us Barrow were poor, but if I'm being honest here we've been poor in almost every game, continue in this vein and we will be nowhere near the playoffs, more likely to figure in a relegation scrap.
