Been enjoying Durham's season all summer. We have been streets ahead of the rest of the 2nd Division.

And cheers ECB for letting us have Potts and Carse back to join Ben Stokes putting in a shift after retiring from England. Sure they'll all get shit faced next week after clinching the title at home to Worcs. And why not?

I'm sure the ECB will be looking for any excuse to exclude Durham again.
Well done and thoroughly deserved after being shafted by the ECB a few years back.

Kent really battled hard but succumbed to Derbyshire with only a few balls to spare, leaving Durham ahead in the table by 55 points, a total which can't be overtaken with two matches to spare. Hail the Champions.
Hopefully they can avoid defeat in the last two fixtures against Worcs and Lancs respectfully, thus going through the season without a single defeat.
Their achievement so far has been phenomenal, remaining unbeaten would be the icing on the cake.
A Pools win tonight will make a very satisfying start to the weekend.
Fingers crossed.

Their usual tactic is putting all our best players on central contracts, knowing Durham is a small county that can't afford to sign replacements of similar quality. Something's gone badly wrong this season as Surrey won't be Div 1 champions.

Believe it or not Mark Wood has still not retired - be nice to see him turn out a few times for Durham before he does.
