If we don't start putting a decent squad together before the tail end of the summer break we could be in deep water. I think that's a Fair old assumption.

It's only early days but 2 statements coming from the Owner and Manager are highly concerning.
It's our long term Aim to get back to the Efl and I want Promotion but won't put a time scale on it.

I reckon we skint and living on hope n luck.

I'm just not seeing any Structure to this plan of Promotion.

Can anyone see whata changed since New Year's Day?.

Maybe I'm missing something!

No obvious signs of the improvement we want to see, but according to some everything's brill - sort of gets us back on topic

I believe the reason why they haven't put a timescale on it, is they don't want pelters- should we lose in the play off final. Promotion is what everyone wants but given the bottleneck with only two up at the moment means it's the hardest league to escape from. I would be more concerned if Raj was still here.

Just hope we can get a couple of stellar signings in before the World Cup starts next week - to help calm everyone down :pray:

Managing expectations is all well and good, but the new Pools hierarchy need to understand that a sustained challenge for the play-off places is the minimum requirement for next season.

Anything less than an 8th place finish will just be marking time.

Finishing 8th will mean we miss out on the play-offs. The minimum target is 7th place, but we should be aiming for at least 4th or 5th so we get at least 1 game at home in the play-offs!!

I know that. 8th is the smallest scenario that any progress at all can be claimed in comparison with last season. A top 8 finish and more than 68 points sounds easy before a ball has been kicked.

I wouldn't rule it out- given some of the pub teams who have qualified for the new larger format.
