I'm going for a very stressful 0-0 where we don't have a single shot on target and they have 27 including two perfectly good disallowed goals (because the referee's from Rotherham and has relatives in Lancashire).

for once i,ll not moan about this being a mid week fixture and not a saturday one which would get a bigger gate. i have no interest in going to this no matter what day its being played even with a free lift and a complementary ticket. could be a game where the players get applause for winning a throw in.

I've waited patiently and expectantly (more fool me) for the arrival of 2/3 EFL players that Feaths has been telling us for the last 2-3 weeks are about to be snapped up before making a prediction. Sadly, the arrival of experienced reinforcements that would make a difference to the Pools is yet again delayed, as are explanations of recent behind the scenes events that Feaths referenced would be publicly clarified. Given that we seemingly can't even fill the bench tonight it would appear that the chances of avoiding anything but a sound hiding are therefore even slimmer than imagined hence;

I think we all have been waiting patiently with the expectation of any signs of squad improvement but all is quiet so far, so the green sheets of recovery we hoped for are not evident as yet. Indeed they are still seeds in the packet waiting to be planted. The impact I hoped for after the hoohah and euphoria at the Alty game is receding into the distance and something has to happen to put the fire back in our bellies before the seeds of doubt develop into the green shoots of doubt. I hate being pessimistic but attending the Aldershot game knocked the stuffing out of me.

Zero shots on target with the York defence effectively being given the night off. Fev tells us if we'd taken our chances it would've been a different game, we matched them all over the pitch (it was 11 Vs 11), more bodies coming to help soon (close season).

I don't know what the rules are about swearing on this forum, but in all my years of watching football I have never seen such an utter 'lovely lovely person' of a referee. He didn't give us shit all game and blows for a really soft penalty in the 103rd minute. (then blows for full time 0.5 seconds after restart).

Losing 3-2 would have been a laudable result EXCEPT for the awarding of that penalty. Maybe he saw the opportunity to level up the ref’s union after his mate ballsed up in our favour at Tamworth.

Well done Pools - that was an excellent display, reminiscent of Rochdale away.
