All the released papers are checked before release to ensure nothing that is indictable comes out I understand.

I don’t think there will be anyone criminally charged over the Epstein files unless there is a truly shocking revelation. It’s more the embarrassment of the association. Trump was a big friend of Epstein over decades and if anyone thinks he wasn’t up to his neck in it they’re deliberately looking the other way. I personally couldn’t really care less unless it’s truly criminal. As for having a Trump anywhere but the most powerful country in the world is pointless. Who are we going to bully?

has anyone else ever wondered if these epstein files are actually 100% the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth anyway. could be a case of being tarred with the same brush as you have said through association.

Last release it said Farage was mentioned a load of times, I’m no fan of his but the slightest research would point out he was mentioned in emails had never been to the island, it didn’t stop a load of accusations heading his way.

It appears Mandelson has had the ‘Freedom of the town’ stripped away from him…and doesn’t his fancy Dan title in the Lords include Hartlepool in its name…?
Can we have that removed too…?

Going to go bad to worse for him Police are reviewing reports of alleged misconduct in a public office after Lord Mandelson was accused of passing on sensitive government information to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Bent in every sense of the word.
Starmer and his cronies in 18 months have managed to out-do the sleaze and corruption of 14 years of the Tories.
Considering Starmer was going to stamp down on sleaze within Parliament and regain the trust of the British people, he's making a right arse of it!
Some newspapers now reporting that he's trying to censor the information that should be released to MPs regarding Manlesons screening for the post of Ambassador to the US. This could be the end for his Premiership and something Labour won't recover from, both main parties fighting for their existence in reality. The Greens and Reforms don't have to do anything as Conservatives and Labour handing it to them on a plate.

As of February 5, 2026, the Metropolitan Police have advised the UK government to withhold or censor specific documents regarding Lord Peter Mandelson’s appointment as ambassador to the US. Police stated that releasing these documents would "undermine" their ongoing criminal investigation into the former Labour minister regarding his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

Not a popular move as it belatedly restricts access to papers that apparently had been agreed in the angry house the same afternoon.
Make of it what you may…but it appears Starmer ain’t popular even with his own MP’s over Mandelson.
If I was Starmer….. I wouldn’t bother looking for paint to redecorate 10 Downing Street.

It’s Trumps way of dealing with embarrassing questions, she was only asking how he felt about the victims now the files have been released, a normal type question, but no he just shouts down, bully’s, berates and belittles the journalists, usually female ones, horrible person.

You know quite well what I mean …deflection tactics……our so called Government in it’s biggest crisis for years led by a naive clerk with no sense of direction, yet you can only pump out the same old crap about Trump.
The Labour Party MP’s are in despair with Starmer, while a small number are doing the rounds on TV trying to kid us that everything is normal in their Legion of the Damned, while Starmer orbits the planet ‘Gormless’ riding the Magic Roundabout and descending into the Land of Gaga.

Trump has a far higher approval rating than Starmer for all of his shortcomings. And is actually achieving a lot of what he promised to do during his election campaign whereas Starmer is doing absolutely feck all that he promised to do whilst him and his mates ride the gravy train.
Starmer has more sleaze and corruption associated to him and his party than even Boris did. He's a dead man walking, but will possibly cling on until after the May elections simply because it would be suicidal for anyone to replace him before then, unless of course a Stooge takes over for a couple of months and takes the fall inay along with the gold-plated grills that ex PMs are entitled to.
Starmer knew that Mandlesson was linked closely to a known convicted child sex trafficker and paedophile but appointed him as Ambassador anyway, if he was a man of integrity he'd resign. But brush that aside and focus on Trump eh?

My comment was about Trump, I never meStarmer, what has Trump achieved apart from increasing the cost of living with his import tariffs and allegedly stopped the border crossings from Mexico.

Trump has many powerful and very rich enemies who have been trying to dig the dirt on him for many years now .He mentioned it when he first addressed the audience of reporters,Jamie..So where's the evidence of any wrong doing ?...You could have at least shown the full clip

Jamie, if you can just see through your blind hatred of Trump you'd have to recognise that his use of tarrifs is a short term tool usually a threat rather than an imposition to get what he wants, ie better trade deals for the US and more manufacturing brought back to the US. He's brought about an end to the war in Gaza. He's brought Ukraine and Russia closer to ending the war than at any time since the war began. He's brought Europe and NATO to wake up and start spending more and building their own defence capabilities. He's trying to stop Iran developing nuclear weapons by diplomatic means rather than military. He's improved his own border security.
Yes there may be short term pain but in comparison we've got Starmer who's achieved feck all apart from harming pensioners, breaking promises, destroying businesses, with short term pain which we all know will be followed by longer term and worse pain.
To be honest I couldn't give 2 fecks about the cost of living in the US as I don't live there. I do care about the cost of living here and I know day on day it's not getting any easier no matter what the snakeoil-salesman tells us. And I'm sick to the back teeth of their lying, cheating, money grabbing antics along with their conceited arrogance in thinking that all these wrong-doing and sometimes illegal acts can be swept under the carpet with an apology. It doesn't work, lose the trust of the country and you should go, as Boris did, and Truss. We just can't believe anything our government tells us.

Your delusional PTID, manufacturing might trickle back to The States but as soon as Trumps gone so will the manufacturers. Snake oil salesman you Farage who promoted stopping immigration, for that - we swapped EU migrants, who had some semblance of right and wrong, for the flotsam and Jetsam of the developing world after Brexit.

Trump won’t be convicted of any wrongdoing doing as he fires anyone who disagrees with him or threatens them with libel.

Why would they set up manufacturing plants in the US and only to close them in 4 more years, it'd be cheaper to pay the tarrifs?
I presume everything else that I mention is correct as you haven't tried to denounce them?
Starmer is our snakeoil-salesman and PM, Farage who you predictably brought up again may be a bigger snakeoil-salesman but he's not PM or even anywhere near government is he?
Having dodgy people in minority party's has been the norm for years, having so many dodgy people in government, taking as much as they can for themselves while doing so much harm to the majority and in fact the country just puts us on a par with most banana republics.

The only person/people to have benefited from the Trump presidency are himself and his family, his wealth has more than doubled since he came to office, we are talking billions not millions.
Donald Trump just had the most lucrative year of his life. The president is now worth a record $7.3 billion, up from $4.3 billion in 2024, when he was still running for office. The $3 billion gain vaulted him 118 spots on The Forbes 400, where he lands at No. 201 this year.

Define ‘orally raping’…that’s a very disturbing comment to make.

Try reading what I actually said at the time, not what you think I said….which is poles apart.
You’re letting him live in your head…I have no such illusions.

You said it was just NATO he called out for being front line dodging cowards, I said try telling that to the families of the over 400 British troops who made the ultimate sacrifice. Interestingly you never replied to that. Even Trump knew he’d gone too far but you tried to defend him.

Donald Trump just had the most lucrative year of his life. The president is now worth a record $7.3 billion, up from $4.3 billion in 2024, when he was still running for office. The $3 billion gain vaulted him 118 spots on The Forbes 400, where he lands at No. 201 this year.

Go to bed Jamie, before you get too aroused or you’ll never sleep

Suing for libel, I reckon he'll make a few bob from this as well,Jamie?

Plus the $5 billion from the BBC if he wins the case although he owes money for libel federal appeals courts have upheld a civil jury's finding that President Donald Trump must pay $83.3 million to E. Jean Carroll for his repeated social media attacks and public statements against the longtime advice columnist after she accused him of sexual assault.

Shock horror - US President increases wealth whilst in office!!
It's par for the course with every recent President having done so bar 1. Those making the most substantial increases (in terms of % increase on their initial wealth) were Clinton and Obama. And believe it or not the 1 who didn't make money was Trump in his first term.

That post you quoted from me explains it clearly in the last line. I don’t defend anyone in politics, I don’t like politicians.
Unfortunately the worlds least constrained ‘diplomat’ spoke, I wasn’t surprised or shocked because it’s what he does..I’m long past being offended by it.
If dogs bark I don’t flinch..I’m used to it, if politicians lie, I don’t flinch either I expect it, we don’t all have the same reaction to stupidity.
That’s like.

We clearly have different tolerances to stupidity or disgusting ignorance. Maybe I listened to the families on socials and the radio and felt for them too much. My blood boils when Pools get pulled for braindead idiots monkey chanting and there is the leader of the free world pushing crap like that. We are all different even Trump has some things I agree with but it’s buried by his character and flaws.

Down the years I’ve realised that nothing really surprises me……I’m past getting angry even with idiots or politicians…as you say, some people can get more involved watching football than they do about real life events, but that’s the irony of human tolerance to events, you get unexpected reactions.
My original post was merely about what caused the reaction to make such an over reactive comment, nothing happens in a vacuum.

Define ‘orally raping’…that’s a very disturbing comment to make.

Face fucked without consent? Any clearer?
Is this a case of people's morality shifting to suit their views? If this was starmer (I don't like the bloke or voted for him) would the reaction be the same?
Trump is a piece of shit, his Gestapo hit squads, his monkey memes, his dementia...don't justify it to suit your world view. He's a fucking wrongun.

Trump desperately trying to stop the mid term elections, he is obsessed about elections being rigged including the 2020 one.
