there is no answer because managers are not allowed to stay long enough to finish off there plans they have just started. OK a couple lasted a few weeks too long but not all of them by a long shot.

Personally I would prefer someone with strong links to the NE with some non league experience.
If a manager 'from away' had the success we crave, he would soon be offered a job in warmer climes and be on his bike like Challinor. I also doubt that experience dealing with players and tactics in the higher eschelons of the Premiership and EFL relates to the National League.

When I saw this topic I thought it was a funding request for donations for Raj to purchase a gun nso he could have a game of Russian roulette sadly not.

It’s as though the football is neither here nor there …… and all that matters is owning the club.

It’s odd though, it’s seems more about football politics than the actual game itself.

To me it feels like appointing Grayson and giving him licence to sign a dozen new players WAS an attempt to make Pools successful again. Sacking him looks like an impulsive decision with no plan behind it, so Pools are treading water while he tries to figure out what to do next.

Featherstone has been left to do what he can with the existing squad (he hasn't been allowed as much as a loan signing so far) so we can only assume that Raj, Lenny and the gang are still looking at various options for a new manager. Anyone with real ambition won't come to Pools, even though the players we've got are mostly decent and there's a good fanbase. The trigger happy chairman is the problem.

Maybe Raj is indeed looking for a new manager but no one has applied for the reason given above, the chairman!!!

The author of that article has been writing for 20 years yet hasn't proof checked the heading, mixes capital letters with low case letters ....poor journalism.
