It’s a gift on away match days and has been for decades for those who can’t get to matches anymore and for away fixtures that the majority of fans can’t get to.
The only people suffering are the fans…no one else …. and for what ..ego wrestling…?
This is no way to carry on, punishing the fans over such trivia is out of order and should be sorted ASAP… and some common sense applied in generous doses.

Raj doesn't do common sense.

Under normal circumstances you would think the family would be saying 'come on dad/grandad you are embarrassing us all, why are you acting like a spoilt brat?'

maybe like the board they have to ask permission to speak to his highness

Got to say that the commentary ban is one of the main contributors to my increasing apathy towards the club.

I know there’s more important and pressing matters but for some reason the ban really winds me up.

just one more issue to add to the list of the others. not getting a mention on tees pre and post match gives an impression we do not exist.

The commentary team are like us, observers of what’s going on on the pitch and elsewhere, a link for fans to get an opinion to compare to their own, which is all about communication.
Shutting down communication is shooting yourself in the foot, because you immediately look like the one being unreasonable.
Why though would anyone running a football club want to do that…. while going to extraordinary lengths to apparently hang onto the club…why …..?

The answer is becoming glaringly obvious, in my opinion we are being punished. Why else would lifelong fans who, for one reason or another, can no longer attend matches be denied access to commentary of the games? What for??. Who knows but maybe in retaliation for all of the abuse and aggravation the club feel they have had to put up with. That's the only reason I can come up with for the way we're being treat.
In my opinion we are being seen as being unfair and are thus being treat unfairly in return.
The threat of starving the owner out might have raised a siege mentality at the club promoting the thought of we'll see who gives in first.

But this is what happens at all clubs…you go from ‘HERO to zero’ and it’s all about success on the pitch.
Anyone knows football is about ups and downs and most fans know that as do most owners, it’s part and parcel of the game and anyone in that position whose sensitive to the ‘boisterous side of the game really is in the wrong business…because a thick skin is standard issue kit for owners when dealing with the meteoric emotions of fans.
This siege mentality will only make things worse and cause resentment to no purpose whatsoever…..time to talk is needed.

Yes time to talk which is what I've been suggesting. An attempt by real fans or fan, not appointed by the club, has to be made to thrash this impasse out with the owner. I thought it would have been done by a tete a tete between Raj and Jeff Stelling but that hope was flung flat on it's face when a seemingly irretrievable fall out between the two took place.
We need a Paul Mullen or a Frankie Baggs and the only person that comes to my mind is Phil Dunn. Maybe If Phil was keen he could choose a couple of others to accompany him.
Mr I, can I suggest you try and broker this meeting. You've helped to broker deals with Raj before so might half half a chance of pulling this off..

You mentioned him punishing fans above. Based on this and his behaviour over last couple of years, which at times has been genuinely sociopathic, do you honestly think he is a person that can be reasoned with? How do you have a productive conversation with someone who has shown with his words, actions and pathetic little videos that he is completely detached from reality?

What I honestly think is we have to look at every angle and every possibility, no matter what chance of success you, me or anybody else thinks we have. Stranger things have happened and what I have learned from nearly 81 years on this planet is you don't know you are at a dead end until you can go no further. It may be a lost cause, a fruitless errand, a waste of time but we won't find out for definite unless we are prepared to have a go. My love of Hartlepool United keeps me going until I find an answer. I have been through every trauma, every experience, every joy and every heartache known to man following this club. This is just another one. I haven't just read about the people who put their lives and freedom and futures at risk when they stood alone against Hitler, I lived and worked with them and their attitude rubs off on you. You come out with I can't do this it's too hard. The answer would come back, it's a lot harder when some bastard is trying to bomb the arse of you. LOL. HA.

feel things have gone too far now for that. the place would be half full of his security goons anyway. we,d only be sold bullshit from him like every statement he ever makes and if it was even fully truthful not many would believe a word of it now. gone from words now to just some form of actions even if they do not work in the end. at least we tried.
