The Poolie Bunker

Kick off delayed by surveyors on pitch making outline measurements for the Ted Leadbitter Housing Estate

Tony Weston hattrick for Boston in the first thirty minutes

No chips

Lennie removed from dug out by St Johns Ambulance team after forty minutes

NW Corner chants 'remove the interim board whoever they are' throughout the second half

Mr Pearson seen jumping into a taxi at 4:30pm

And Saturdays lottery numbers are....

Boston are not going to be pushovers as their league position suggests.

Much better form than pools last 5 won 3 drew 2.

Tonight currently they are 2 nil up at Rochdale.

Boston the inform team at the moment, 0-3 up at Rochdale tonight.
Tough game come saturday.

Gateshead getting thumped at home again. Can't see them staying in the play-off places much longer, but none of the teams from 6th-10th are in particularly good form. Tamworth are 11th and they're part-time!

Pools have missed plenty of open goals on the pitch in the last 2 months and an even bigger one by not capitalising on how bad the division is this season.

Can see Southend coming through on the rails.

MUST WIN GAME v Boston who have 2 games in hand on us and are nine points behind us.

I said on another thread the other day- we are Pools- we don't win must win games!

Boston will suddenly morph into Man City just as they get off the team coach in Clarence Road.

Desmond 2-2 for me- Miley and Madine for Pools

Foden and a late Haaland penalty for them.
Ederson has the game of his life between the sticks and is called into the Brasil National side for the World Cup Qualifiers on the back of that performance alone!

Crowd 3456
41 from across the pond

they looked quite poor when we played them earlier in the season but like tamworth even more they have done something we have not. improved.

May be because they are going Full Time next season, Contracts up for grabs.

Watched them last night, They counter attack very very fast. JIMMY KNOWLES is the main threat.

no problem with our pace at the back and feathers speed to cover any mistakes.

2-0 Mancini brace.

Sorry just dreaming.

At least it's not housewives favourite Tony Knowles- we'd be playing for snookers!

If we let them get their heads up (counter) then watch out, Smith.

a player who has played more games for accrington than mancini did but back at the place where he made a name for himself. good loan signing for them where we,d probebly get marcus carver back.

Have been steadily improving since appointing Graham Coughlin as manager. He did a good job at Newport amongst others.

Anutha non win game.
Anutha fake crowd.
Anutha injury before n during game.
Anutha game Skippy is Sackless.

Business as Usual.
WSO.

Fast Forward to this time next week and the league table takes a dramatic turn for the worse.

That Ebbsfleet fixture is massive.
Has to be a win to stop this debacle of a dog shit run football club

Debacle? Enuf sed

skippy on again with his latest rallying cry which seemed word for word the same as last week but changed the name of opponents.

I’m expecting sweet f a……what a damning inditement of our clubs lethargic sleep walk to obscurity.

and the fans as lemmings.

2-1 loss,

Dominate possession but go one down to a scrappy goal/mistake in 1st half
Boston get 2nd with 10 mins to go on the break

We pull one back in injury time...

Limpy praises the players for their efforts and being top human beings....but is disappointed we didnt do as well as we could in both boxes

Surely this has to be one of those rare occasional wins, I'd be concerned if Pools don't manage to win this one, it would really highlight how bad they are.

A scrappy 2-1 win

over 90 odd minutes nobody has really hammered us and likewise we have hammered nobody. can see another draw to attempt to get pools into the record books by having the most draws and bores in a season.

looking at there bored they seem to be a mixture of a close win, a close defeat and a good number predicting a draw.

It all depends on how we define ‘occasional’…Pools occasional’s have a time lapse longer than most other clubs ..especially when the good things in life, like ‘wins’ are concerned.

That's a best case scenario.
But I think your underating them.
Their press closing down and fast attacking at Rochdale was awesome.
Then you add in the carrot dangler of their lot wanting full time contracts for next season.
Just can't see how this game has a different outcome to the last 8.

Well this afternoons predicted Monsoon and Boston resurgence should be an unmissable event…….wonder what’s on the telly

A dour 1-1 victory for Pools.

Dour…hmmm…I like that.

Can't see us winning, they've won their last 5 away and we've not won any of our last 5 at home.

We really, really could do with a win to avoid real nerves in a few weeks.
Can’t believe this is where we’re at but come on Pools, get the points and effectively end a very poor season.

There is nothing to suggest that we will not drop 2 points or more as we have done in the recent past, so a draw is the best I can predict even against a semi pro club!

1-1 with Grey scoring.

PS what is the lowest position Pools have finished a season on in their entire history?

Thing is Kevin, AL yarps on about how we need a win for the Fans/Club.
He knows HE needs a win for himself, If he loses this one cannot see him being here next season.

Boston haven't lost for 7 games so I predict a 1-0 win for them.

4-0 or 0-4

It put my mind at rest regarding next season,if we’re still around, that Limpdick wants Xavi to still play

24th in 59/60 and again in 62/63 both in the Division 4 days.

Pools are at level 5 in the NL/Conference so we have been below EFL Division 4 for a number of years. I fear that we could plumb the depths this season.

16th at this level 5, 18/19 season, is the lowest we have ever been, taking the type of league into consideration.
It could be beaten this season!

Thanks Stocksfield, that's what I'm afraid of.

Big Josh just put Dagenham 1 0 up.

Oh shit.

AL's giving Mancini a start in a last ditch attempt to get a win and keep his job.

1-1 for Dagenham so some breathing space for Pools!

A draw is useless a win scant compensation…..everything they touch turns to dust…it’s been 10 years (play offs apart) of being stuck in the doldrums, a sort of don’t start ignition, coughing but never moving.

Get in Madine !

Cleary too good again!

4-0 it will be then!

Never saw that coming . Really well taken goal by Madine

1-1 normal service resumed. just passed right through us, Sheron having a shit game so far and looks way off it

1-1 here we go again. Own goal sass davies
