thing is after setting a monthly quiz so many get the answers wrong because they do not either read a question or listen. being on television for a start would make some peoples mind go blank.

Fair point.
I tested it out on my daughter,who has no interest in sport whatsoever,and she got it right.she wasn't born till 1993

at least she had a go and not given the stock answer that it was before her time which is the most annoying comment anyone can make. we have a monthly quiz on a thursday night set by the chairman of the parish council who is about 40 and refuses to set question after he was born which does not help the audiance who apart from a couple are all over 60. had to find a 25 year old ringer who is up with todays world to come 1st or second.

I didn’t know…but I have no interest in horse racing whatsoever…in fact apart from football all other sports have no appeal to me.

I stopped watching Eggheads about a week after it started the 1st series...Smug horrible kunts...apart from the Old Lady...who's probably passed away by now. Lovely lady. sadx

I’m with Mutley. They must have scoured the country for smugness when they came up with this shite. Has that CJ de Poof died yet by the way? I think I read that he’s got the shirtlifter virus.

he was supposed to be doing tv work in dramas but i have never seen or heard of him even though he has one of the boxes to tick.

That CJ was insufferable - he popped up quite a bit- remember one year was watching the snooker from the crucible- and the odious fucker had complementary tickets right by where the players walk out and was even interviewed.

Sure he got blacklisted for doing something dodgy - might have been sexual assault or something equally unsavoury. Can't remember without checking Mr Google

I think it was something to do with a mysterious death which he stupidly mentionrd in his biography and was investigated.
