The Poolie Bunker

Any Predictions.

Same shite unless Raj sells.

No change as usual.

rinse and repeat.

Relegation

Unfortunately all the ingredients are there.
I reckon 19th then go down the season after.

Manni and Gray will be gone and possibly Mancini depending on fitness. Waterfall potentially retiring (not starting a rumour just me guessing) Ferguson offered a three year contract. Feaths announces he'll do one more season. One or two youngsters signed from "the big three" and the season will be similiar to this one with loads of talk of play offs but never quite stringing the results together to make it realistic. Finish just below half way.

I think I wrote about this a few months ago…Will make the last couple of years look like the glory days with the same people in charge of the club

Who knows, Raj has only agreed to fund the club to the end of June. Does he intend to stay or has he got an exit plan?

Current squad for next season is: Smith, Mazfari, Parkes, Sheron, Miley, Campbell, Folarin, Storey. Hunter, Charman, Sloggett, BSD, Darcy and Stephenson might be in contract but I don't know. Either way it's going to be a big rebuild. You'd imagine at least 2 of Dodds, Mancini, Grey and Mani D will be off who are probably our 4 best players (ignoring current form) so replacing them with similar quality is important if we want to actually do something next season.

fuck me
Hunter, Sloggett and Charman on 2 year deals while Mancini, Dodds, Grey and Mani Ds contracts are up---am sure we'll roll out the red carpet for Feather and Ferguson again--what an abysmal core of players that is.

Well if Carlisle come down they'll no doubt throw money at it and win the league, then one of Forest Green/Barnet/York who doesn't go up this year will be the favourite to join them. Getting out of this league without either a mixture of luck and good management or throwing money at it is basically impossible.

In summary we are fooked

We are going round in circles like a spinning coin….it needs to stop, settle and starts afresh.

The majority of sponsors n fans will have an exit plan.
And that will speed up this slow death process. WSO.

you,d think it would have been better for carlisle to throw money at it now rather than waiting for relegation. getting back in the league will be harder than it was last time for them.

We heading towards a part time team where only youth players will try n take the gamble that this cesspit can be a stepping stone.

Or we go down the new ownership route to avoid that.

The recent signings would suggest that going part time isn't in the plans for the next couple of seasons though?

Looks like 3 promotion spots could be a reality by then too.

if we did ever go down that line it would create more part time fans with it.

Not according to some on here, we'd be generating home crowds of 3000 plus even against the Aldi Arms in Sunday League Prem div cos we're a big club don't you know.

Like village team Macclesfield.

We will be at that stage soon.

actually it makes getting back into the league structure less appealing in years to come with a possibility of division 2 consisting of loads more southern ex non league clubs by the time we wake up and get there. cannot see the excitement of being back in the league when the majority of fixtures are against clubs with no away fans who we do not like playing against now. could easily see pools with their present gates dropping down the list of having most fans with relegation of carlise, tranmere, swindon and gillingham.

Dunno, only 2 out of the current top 8 in NL are Southern based, plus most of them are recent efl members trying to get back.

Our clubs been in decline since IOR jumped ship and it isn't going to get any better soon unless some miracle happens and they never happen for us.

8 weeks earlier now.

Can we get away from the shite that the club is 100% funded from Sing Only. Loan Money!

, Should be a bit of Palace money contributing.

Play offs

I'm too cynical

Raj has spat his dummy out before, yet he is still here

People say let's fill in Vic and pull together

I'd rather do that when he has well and truly left

I get the feeling he'll still be the owner in August

Is there going to be a ‘next season’…or more smoke and mirrors….?
I suspect if Aliens landed on the centre circle at half time, and kidnapped the dear leader he’d still find a way to be in charge.

The catering will continue to improve.

Ah..that statement that quells the to torch and pitchfork supporters.

Raj....................Whos Raj

It's not Raj it's Jar.

If Raj Singh still here we could be another Ebbsfleet in 2025/26.

Bellway will move on site in august with the target of building 120 affordable homes by May 2026.

Stranger things have happened.

Aye, followed shortly by the Marina View Retirement Home.

Some of us might even end our days in what was once the Town End, wallowing in our own piss rather than being squirted with that of the drunken bastard stood behind us.

Hardly won a game in the last 3 seasons and still getting 3500 to 4k. Losing to the aldis arms virtually.every week as it is. So yes we are a big club in this league and we will be if we went down further. It's the chairman you have defended for years that's held us back, well not held us back pretty much ruining us

Didn't you know kev it's just raj's money keeping us afloat? Got to remember nowadays people through the door means nowt, league money counts for nothing, sponsors etc shirt sales drop in the ocean it's all raj's money keeping the club going.

Angela Rayner Park…has a certain ring to it…who will they name the roads after…?

Id say the size of the crowds made him renegade on last seasons Takeover with a crazy delusional dream of Promotion this season.
Ah well thankfully he soon be history.

And the crowds will still say decent.

Only a few will expect/want 700 crowds under a new regime.

See we're we are in the Summer.
Please no U Turn Again from him.

going to be a long summer where the future of the club could change day to day. the big thing pools have to offer is the size of there support who has by and large accepted more shit thrown there way than most clubs have ever had in the whole of there existance but turn up for more. surely its time this old dog has its day.
