Nothing in the Mail n can't get club website.
Think he's here for the full season or on full pay for the season.
Why else would he mention the next 12 games n not once mention his job is in jeopardy.

Does anyone know his length of contract?.
I'm 100% confident unfortunately it doesn't include the usual 6 months probation period.

Are Pools financially in the position to sack him, what length of contract is he on, is there a probation period in it. From what I remember Hartley and his assistant were still being paid long after they were sacked.

are the club in a financial position not to sack him. i,m convinced we are losing 1,000 fans a week spending gate money and other things at the game if we were playing better football and winning some home games if not all. we will never know for sure but if he gets sacked next week there will be more at saturdays game than if he stays. its the number of extra ones we,ll never know about for sure.

The guy on the other board is usually around 98% correct with his info and he has said.

"I did get a text late last night that he’s got the bullet"

thankfully.

Ronnie Moore assisting Fev as interim. Keep LL as far away from the team as possible.

The wish is he's gone, the names are desperation really although I dare say anyone who's won a couple of games or so on Football Manager would make a better fist of things with the players available.
I'd take back KP, Lee, Askey in a heartbeat to work with this group of players. The sad thing is that Sarll who recruited most of this lot just doesn't realise what he's got available to him.

" The names are desperation really " I would disagree with that quote. If anything bringing back KP, Lee or Askey is total desperation. How often have we re-employed a manager we sacked ( other than Billy Datson Horner ). sctatchinghead

Not going to happen. When they're gone, they're gone - Raj didn't get where he is today admitting that he makes mistakes  May as well wait for Sarll to actually get the bullet and let the bookies do the guessing games to pull in the mug punters.

Pete Wild is the only sane option - so it won't be him

Moore had the great escape but he got sacked the following season, Sweeney won’t come back after Pools got rid of him to be replaced by Featherstone.

If I remember rightly the actual negotiations involved in Sarll getting the Pools job was a protracted affair.
He says the job is a challenge and was challenged to do it.
Maybe that means the board, who were alledgedly doing the wooing, gave in to demands for a decent contract, over say at least two years, with watertight clauses meaning his position is safe.
He may have demanded a decent exit package should the club wish to sack him.
Maybe that is the reason for his arrogance and surety that he won't readily get the chop.
The arrogant so and so is so sure of himself so it's got to be something like that, simply because why would any owner put up with what is happening.
I mean putting eleven players on the pitch at the beginning of the twelth game of the season who hadn't managed a single goal amongst them is virtually beyond belief.
It just doesn't make sense otherwise.
I think he has got us over the proverbial barrel.

I could understand the board giving in to Sarls demands if he had a successful managerial career or was a proven manager but he wasn't, how could they so naive to think he could do a job for Pools ?

Sadly it is a fact that naivety at the top level is one of the prime reasons for Pools being where they currently are on the English Football ladder.

Well they obviously did think he could do a job for us or they wouldn't have gone for him. What made them do that God only knows.
Mad as it has turned out to be.
There's summat just not right in all this.
I wish I knew but can only speculate as there is no rhyme nor reason to it all.
Defies logic from the start and no one seems to want to address it.
Beats me.

Can't remember the timeline with KP going, but I'm pretty sure the rumours were doing the rounds well before it was announced.

Quite a different situation, KP just didn't have his contract renewed at the end of the season. Sacking post game tend to be quick and clean.

They won't announce it on a weekend. Especially not a Sunday night. They've got to get it announced early next week though as people will notice if he's not at the training ground.

Just a thought - but how about give him Joe Monk's job to avoid a severance package? He's got a good eye for players wheras Joe Monks has got a shit eye for players (and managers).

It must have happened pretty sure it has. Now who do we think will be in charge this week? I would say Gucky assisted by Featherstone. Come to think of it if Gucky is given a couple of weeks in charge I would bet he will do a great job. He played under Keegan at Fulham and would definitely know the attacking style needed to entertain and win games. But has the extra tool of being a solid centre half to go with it. It's just a thought and maybe he would decline it full time but dafter things happen. He knows the club inside out and the fans also and with Featherstone could be the answer to a long running problem Raj has had when the answer could be right in front of nose. I have to say before someone poo poos my suggestion that I would prefer Pete the Wildman, if I was Rag I would push the boat out to get him. I don't see the point in the club continuing to employ then sack managers probably due to offering shit wages. Give the man a good salary and a two year contract and you will save thousands instead of this silly cheap hiring and firing. For godsake we are one of the biggest clubs in this league and really should get this right once and for all. Come on Raj sign a solid long term manager with all the confidence in the World. You know it makes good sense and even better financial sense. You have done well with your backing this year and that has allowed us to build a quality squad. A racehorse needs an experienced quality rider to get the best results so it's either put up a good offer to a good proven quality manager or sell the horse.

Gucky never got given a chance at Fulham after Keegan arrived due to Gucky 'breaking' a Newcastle players leg in a pre-season friendly v Pools.
