Listen to Harry Nilsson on YouTube…’You’re breaking my heart’ damned if I can get it up. :angry-tappingfoot:

Mad that nearly half the people on this thread are the same person talking to themselves. So they say.

It’s the same with every manager. Every fan is desperate for them to succeed, it’s just that some people cling on to the hope longer than others. I don’t blame anyone for giving a new manager the benefit of the doubt as the turnover of managers under Raj has been ridiculous. Have to say though, it’s rare to get the whole fan base so united against a manger as we have now. Toss up between Sarll and Hartley for the accolade of worst manager. To be slightly fair to Sarll, recruitment has been slightly better than the Hartley era.

I've been rooting for Sarll to do well, as I do with every manager. I like the bloke, probably in the same way I liked Keith Curle, but as Ronnie Moore said, 'i haven't got pickled onions for eyes'.…..I really can't see Sarll turning this around and judging by the players demeanour, they're quite happy to throw him to the lions.
I do have a feeling that behind the scenes other options are being considered.

I think it was obvious from an early stage of the season the players weren’t buying into the project, as those trendy folk like to say.
Which is becoming more obvious by the week.
Which could be described as a moral dilemma, but it’s football so no one will give a shit.

He is an extremist, He believes we must defend what we hold 1Pt, And somehow(madness) pinch a goal.
Apparently we have been getting ahead of ourselves, By trying to defeat these mighty teams of the National League.
The Massive, Yeovil, Tamworth, Wealdstone, Woking, Braintree, Boston, Ebbsfleet Etc
The Ebbsfleet game was my personal last straw, And we have lost 2 since.

Same here. I was disgusted by the manner of Sarll's appointment and thought his pedigree was talked up ridiculously by some who are now slagging him off - he has never got a side closer to a promotion than an NL play-off eliminator.

But when a new season starts you've got to want the Pools manager of the day to be a success. It's only taken a handful of games to show that there isn't a hope in hell of that happening.

Wonder what Raj's next lucky dip will turn up? We've already had 6 full-time managers since Challinor jumped ship in November 2021 and will no doubt be on to a 7th before November 2024 comes around. As others keep saying, the club is a laughing stock at the minute.

We must learn to stay in the game as long as possible and play football higher up the pitch sctatchinghead
FFS man it's 5th division football n we got the loudest fans this shitty division has ever had.
And believe me this is the most piss poor standard division for a long time.

Sarly Out even if we get a shock draw today.

Maybe Raj's résumé at the interview stage was we need a team that doesn't concede so easily (after previous seasons debacles) and unfortunately forgot to request we continue to score at the other end of the park?

For Raj: https://youtu.be/SHhrZgojY1Q?si=mD6S-2E5cjbbtjLQ

The best bit. Is it : "I get on my knees and pray, we dont get fooled again."

Or is it "Meet the new boss. The same as the old boss"

thats totally true though and as i have said before he has overcompasated by going the other way where one defensive midfielder in the side would have been enough plus another left back who can actually defend or mark a player. he wants clean sheets and then does not replace fergy.
