……With anything about him, has a decent squad on his hands to work with ……if the club get their finger out.
We still have a chance, but change is needed asap.

Spot on. That's the most bewildering part about it - this looks like the best squad we've had for a while.

Trouble was he brought the players down to his level, a bit like getting a race horse to pretend it’s a donkey on Seaton beach for Donkey rides.

I'm watching your Snarl death throes and it's identical to what happened 18 months ago at Woking. His inability to rely upon anything more than a high work rate is all he has. Tactically he's inept. He drove the players so hard when he first arrived it paid dividends initially, and other teams struggled against us. The energy and pressing was relentless. But because he kept this intensity up - apparently training sessions were very similar - there were more and more injuries through the season and, although we got to the play offs, you could see the players were increasingly drained. He would play people when they clearly weren't sufficiently recovered from injury but his mentality was to keep driving them. He doesn't 'do' subtlety. It's a sort of mind set from the 60's or 70's....bandage them up and get them back out there. Fatigue and injuries are all in the mind.
To see how this will probably pan out for you, watch some of his last 3 months of interviews at Woking. He became completely isolated because he didn't have the support from the players... let alone the supporters.

I suspect the players have had enough already, this isn’t football as we know it, it’s like watching a high intensity treadmill and just as entraining…..might have a chance if we sign a few hamsters and Gerbils.

People on here saying its a decent squad we have, but every game Ive watched this season the majority of teams have better players than us. Look at Rochdale last night, all over the pitch they were better than us and they are by no means the strongest team in this league. There is not an earthly chance that this squad could make the play offs. Thats just my opinion Im sure lots of people will disagree.

the thing is he,ll still be thinking he did a good job at woking, pools and everywhere else he has been at. it will not be him but everyone else at the clubs who are at fault. seems a trait in football managers who have had more than one job in the game sheer arrogance. the ones who are not arrogant give a failure just one go and do anther job after to earn a crust.

I have a feeling Gucky & Featherstone will be in charge on Saturday. But long term would prefer Pete Wild or Ben Clarke but certainly not the toss pot Chris Beech. Then there is Neil Collins who left Barnsley or Neil Warnock. bbolt Or even Garath Southgate sure he would fit in well being a yes man

Bring back Billy Horner and his Datsun- proper old school Pools, his 4th stint in charge is well overdue!

Under a proper manager they might well be better players, even the decent players we have like Mani and Mancini are being made to look bang average.

ben clarke is a decent shout but could see wild coming if raj breaks the bank but would do a challinor the first chance he got to move back to his glorious north west leaving us back to square one yet again.

Our midfield is still poor. Only Feathers can control a ball and none of them are creative. Both Cook and Crawford, despite all their faults were creative players who could feed the forwards. None of this lot show that level of skill so I'm afraid this squad is not as strong as some on here believe.we've replaced some players with worse .

He's right though our midfield is painfully uncreative.

Never said they aren’t…they actually seem to be photo copies of each other …..bland and unimpressive.
Though I think Campbell is being chronically wasted under ‘Sarll the Strategist’.
But…..I would like to see them under a proper manager before condemning under these circumstances.

We have a couple of destroyers for MF, We only neeed to play 1 with the sole purpose to break up play, And give the ball to a creative type, Which we also have.

But he is going to play as many as he can (destroyers) come saturday, Which will result in us playing attack v defence.
Its more than likely we end with 10 men or less, FGRs will wind our lot up no end.

Ignore the above, If the club see sense and get shot.
