Question for the stattos--have we ever scored less than 1 goal in the first 6 home games of the season before in our history?

If not lets print him out a certificate as he's sent on his way !

He’s lost the players after watching that.

Maybe your question should be have we ever scored only 1 goal in the first 7 home games of a new season. My guess is probably not.

Why do you keep saying we've played one more home game than we actually have?

No problem pal, at least you apologised, wonder if D.S will for his undoubted mistakes.

Well paulus I personally got it very wrong regarding Sarll but have said so in past week or so. I would expect Raj and his board members to apologise and act swiftly to replace him ASAP. However I don't think D.S. is the sort to apologise because that would not help him get another job in football.

I just hope there is someone out there who can fashion a functioning team out of this squad, a person who can at least give our long suffering fans something to cling their jaded hopes onto, otherwise we will be looking at another new low for our clubs history and a visit to another league we've never sunk to before.

if we had won last night and were in the top 5 he,d bask in the fans adulation. when things are going bad we need an apology by admitting he got it wrong. feel him and other managers want everything their own way from fans both in good and bad times. thing is i do not think any of them have ever been long term fans of a single club turning up week after week since they were kids if at all.

and like hartley will be remembered possibly longer than challinor will as all he did was earn the money he was paid to do and not work some miracle unknown to mankind.

Would anyone else be daft enough to keep him on after his record here is the more relevant question surely.

Whatever his faults, Raj is not stupid - he will bide his time, assess the market, make his move - and subsequently dismiss the hapless Sarll when he is least expecting it. Sarll won't be puffing his chest up like a pigeon, he is a sitting duck.

We'll have to dig Norris McWerter up, and have a look in his Guinness Book!

I was desperate for Sarrl to do well - but that post match interview with Rob Law on Tees - is just an embarrassment. 'We lost heavily because we had more attack minded players on the pitch!' FFS

I think he has Pickled Onions for Eyes!

Speaking of which- give the job to Ronnie Moore - he's already in the building and at least has half a clue of what the job entails and how to get everyone on board INCLUDING the players!

Tbh that is the reason we lost, all he knows is full the team with grafters and try not to concede then hope a mistake or some moment of skill nicks us a goal
As soon as he has to TRY and score he’s out of his depth and has no clue how to do it without also messing up his Neanderthal hoof ball

He has Manchurian, Mancini, grey, mani d, and Campbell plus a great attacking full back in dodds and has no clue how to play to get them close to and playing off each other, so he just throws more and more of them on and hopes for the best instead of trying to coach situations where they get near each other and can create,, he’s hopelessly out of his depth and as he tries to change things it gets worse, we lose any defensive solidity without gaining in attack because he’s not coaching anything he’s just throwing players on
It’s the sort of thing that would happen if one of us was manager, but he’s supposed to be qualified to be better than some random person off the streets

If sarll turns this mess around it'll be the best comeback since Phil Schofield

His comments at the match were scary for those who think it can’t get worse

By increasing our attacking threat we have reduced our ability to get the ball back

The biggest goalscorrer is winning high up the pitch and taking the fewest amount of passes needed to get there

It’s going to be all the cloggers in on Saturday with at least 5 yellow and 1 red card assumimg the players don’t just ignore him

I don’t understand the benefit to keeping him until Saturday.
There’s no organised press, there’s no joined up attacking play, the players don’t seem to want to be there and are clearly frustrated, we’re no longer defensively solid. Get him gone and a new man in for Monday for a full week of training before Sutton.

I heard rumours/reports that Gordon The Gopher has been intimidating Channel 5 bosses into choosing Schofield

You say Raj is not stupid, so what about all these stupid managerial appointments? I dont understand your reasoning, apart from Challinor who has he appointed who was actually any good?
