Looks like a powerful line up. I wonder how they will be set up? Can Madine manage 90 minutes or is the plan to take him off when he runs out of steam?
Be interesting to see how we get on with Asiiimwe in place of Ferguson. I still dont feel optimistic to be honest but fingers crossed as always.

I think it’s back 5? So Charman is the Fergie replacement with Asiimwe at Right back?

Doesn’t look like much coherence to that line up
Think it’s a last desperate throw of the dice, sass Davies can count himself unlucky I thought he’d be moving Parkes to LB

I think asinwe at lb and a 4 4 2 with charman and grey out wide, as I say I think he’s just throwing anything against the wall at this stage

It is a bit, Would have liked to have seen real attacking intent.

For me:

3CBs, Dodds newlad wing backs, 3 CMs, 2 up top.

The fact we have young, Mancini, manthurin and Campbell all on the bench shows he has no clue how to get the best out of our best players, and is bottling it on the goalkeeper front

Yeah that looks more sensible but the way it’s formatted confuses me if this is the case. If it is 4-4-2 it looks like Dodds CB with Parkes on the left

That's a quality formation.
Hopefully it wins.

Charman will need to do a lot of work to help the midfield if it is the formation

Feather and 2 in the middle typically = overrun , it certainly won’t be sarlls self proclaimed high press !

It will give the 2 forwards better service from the wings.
Enuf of this wingback shit putting so called crosses into MannyD on his jack.
He's probably the Happiest he's been all seasons.

Well we Gunna find out because it shit or bust time for the bullshiter.

Yeh maybe it works but doesn’t seem too much thinking behind it, as you say shit or bust, it’s ridiculous though that he can’t get a team on the pitch including Mancini OR Campbell, a real indictment of his ability to use our best players

And charman is not a better option than the palace lad on the wing for as long as he has a hole in his arse, being selected because he runs around a lot and feather…does not !

I’d love a 3-4-3

Parkes waterfall dodds
Feather Sheron
Manthurin and grey wide
Mancini and Campbell behind mani D

Get ball on the floor and we Would tear most teams a new arsehole

Playing 5 at the back---which negates Dodds fwd threat, and Rochdale obvsiously got the memo on hassling feather

Madine needs to stop moaning
CHarlton lad doing well
Charman is a really poor footballer

thats it so far

oh the idea od us being a pressing team has been completely abandoned

Hard to describe how bad it is...formation pulled out of Sarlls arse and players obviously not coahed--Rochdale not great but they have a plan they are sticking with

Its hoofball from players bereft of confidence and playing out of position---it really does feel like the end days for sarll-as he has abandoned any notion of a press and seems to have zero clue what to do

The goal was a joke and a direct result of players not knowing their responsibilities....because our fool of a manager gave them the new tactics on the back of a cigarette packet

Its hard to believe how much this club shoots itself in the foot with its decisions..

After you've sacked the manager. I like Featherstone but when he's first pick as he is now something is deeply wrong.

they are a passing team, not amazing at it put get it on the deck and try and play--Rodney looks good.
Problem is we have no one pressing as peopel dont understand the new formation and we have Feaths in a midfield 2, Sheron already booked and will probably be sent off.
Long balls all the time

Charlton lad looks good but cant do it himself--Charman is utter shite whenever he is near the football and his awful positioning cost us a goal (almost like the manager just told him a day or so ago we were changing entire formation because Ferguson is suspended)

Sarll is basically clueless and has gone for something completely different out of desperation like hes playing football manager--at least Raj will finally get shot

I'm afraid when your manager is a bargain basement appointment you can't expect a great deal more talks the talk that is it end off clueless is it true Lennie recommended him?

Unbelievably bad, making Rochdale look like world beaters, Ben Clark on commentary says he could be comfortable playing against this Pools side. What system are we supposed to be playing, I certainly cant see it. Just cannot see where a goal is gonna come from.

Charman, Sheron awful. Why would you put that lad at right wing back? You'd just play 442 wouldn't you? Agh

Leaving Charman on at half time a mistake. The subbing our best player in featherstone. 0-4 i reckon.

he has no clue--claims we are a pressing team and plays a midfield 2 with feather.....never played 3 at the back and switches clearly without any training--its sunday league stuff and he needs to fuck off back there and a be a self proclaimed 'winner' down the rec
