If Raj hasn’t already made a decision then the next 3 matches against the top teams will tell us if we don’t already know where we are. Hate to be negative but indications suggest we could be in for a walloping from one of these teams

I agree, it has to be addressed. Raj binned KP as he was convinced by DS that he knew how to get out of this level. Maybe DS in his head convinced Raj that he was the man. The squad assembled has been great, unfortunately DS doesn't know how to play it. Maybe, perhaps DS has been naïve in thinking that he is at a club that will accept hoof ball, maybe he doesn't know how to coach football.

you might have hit the nail on the head there by him being at a club that will not accept hoofball which is miles away from how the old crazy gang wimbledon played. it might be acceptable somewhere like tamworth but certainly not with us.

I think as was said Phillips was offered a contract verbally and submitted al list of the players he wanted to bring in, Raj then panicked and was offered a cheaper alternative and took it. We now have Lennie Lawrence, Ronnie Moore and Garry Pallister putting in their thoughts to Raj and yet again he can still not get it right .For a supposed top business man he seems to have some serious issues. The buck stops with him.

KP wasnt the answer either--I don't see that as the issue---we should really have stuck with Askey--and given him a proper clean slate to have a crack this year

Problem with Askey was that he'd lost the dressing room, he was constantly publicly criticising the players, and results were sending us into NLN. He had to go when he did.

how do any of us know he had lost the dressing room as none of us were in it or know players nowadays. not the first manager to criticise players in public but saying the same as many of us did at the time. the team he had available to him on his last game was just a shadow of the one we started the season with. possibly if he was like he was in the dressing rooms as he came over all depressed in interviews where the world was against him it would hardly be a motorvating factor for the team.

I'd say he'd lost the dressing room by the very fact that he said after every game they wouldn't follow instructions. Constantly publicly criticising them wouldn't have endeared him to them will it.
We were in terminal decline when he left after a great start.

Funny how you've stopped banging on about how well he's doing at Truro since they lost their last 3 games...

the team he had when he got the sack would have seen us relegated if we had started with it from the outset. wonder how KP would have managed if manni d was out for the season and joe grey hadn,t improved to the player he became.

All ifs and buts, that's life isn't it. I liked Askey but we were going down under him. Agree he was hamstrung with the misfits at his disposal towards the end.

really thought DS was the next DC - seems they are worlds apart and the reason why one was unemployed from the NL and the other is taking Stockport to the Championship !

DC was unemployed after getting the bullet from Fylde wasn't he? We weren't exactly tearing the league apart under him either, our form improved massively when we got Armstrong on loan and him and Oates clicked.

It wasn't really happening for us until Armstrong and Oates formed a great partnership.
DS needs to find the spark to ignite our season and find it quickly.

Sarl will get the bullet when the home fans turn on sarl. Raj has said in the past he had to sack a manger before they turned on him. One more bad performance on saturday might be the final nail in the coffin.

he just needs to get the best out of what he has at his disposal even if that means he has to change his football philosophy in how he wants the game being played. still feel he is making had work of a difficult job and not helping himself, the players or us.

That must surely be a listed building to have survived this long? It reminds me of the old Clarence Road stand that the Germans tried to obliterate with their Zeppelins and dirty Fokkers during WW1 but was eventually demolished in the 1980's - I think?
