The whole of the West Midlands is in uproar today as the Saddlers managed to play a whole 90 minute game without conceeding a single goal!

This event last happened when The Brownies Elite XI visited the ground in the summer of 1925.

Port Vale missed a string of gilt edged chances to plunder yet another 3 points from the Banks's Stadium but hasty finishing and a rash of mix-ups in the forward line allowed the league two champions to secure their second point of the season.

Richard Money summed up the whole game with the single word: 'Wow!'

Walsall will next entertain Oldham Athletic where they are sure to be in for a painful Lancashire dicking.

To be fair tho Port Vale are worse than the Brownies second XI

Yes Port Vale are pap relegated fodder if ever I've saw it, I'd be horrified if we'd just drew 0-0 at the home to them.

To be fair I suppose they have been strengthened by the Wendies generously taking Akpo Sodje off their hands for £300,000
