For goodness sake gents i think it's about time people chilled out a little. My heart goes out to anybody who has to go through the loss of a child and i can't even contemplate how i would react if this happened to my daughter - but come on people it was only a very light hearted joke. Take it as it was meant, i'm sure we don't need 5 pages of debate decided if it was right or wrong. Have a little chuckle and move on.

I think there's been enough reaction to this thread, including from some I'd normally consider broad minded, to prove that a lot of people are uncomfortable with this cartoon.
But no one has removed it so I won't hear any talk about moral police. People have given their opinions that's all.
My own view is that I'd be a lot more comfortable with it if it were actually funny. I've looked at it all ways and find no humour in it whatsoever. If it's a dig at the press it's certainly a heavily veiled one.
