How on earth did we not score let alone win??

We were magnificent today, on top all game and it seemed like they were the away team. Cant wait to see the match stats. Some brilliant passing and movement, we just couldnt score. 3 or 4 goal line clearences, hit woodwork twice, blatent hand ball on the line (apparently, i couldnt make it out), etc etc

Keep that kind of performance up and we will walk this league.

HOW THE HELL HE MISSED THE HANDBALL ON THE GOAL-LINE I WILL NEVER KNOW

will be interesting to read how the leeds fans seen it.

we read it LEEDS 2 monkey hangers 0 mate, let the history books show that MIGHTY LEEDS are the class of 2007/8 and we even win when we play shite

you have to be fair to us we took our chances, you didnt, you have to score goals to win games and lets be honest with all that possession you should have scored 1 but you couldnt. and dont call the ref, he gave you every desicion 50/50 or otherwise.

2-0 poolies, as i said to one of your lads after the game "good luck for the rest of the season, your the best team weve played so far but today you came up against a great team". theres no shame in defeat to a team that is gonna come from -15 to win this league.

great show from your fans today too, well done.

WE ARE LEEDS

A great team?

We should have scored at least six times, how many off the post? How many goal line clearances? How many other glaring misses? Your keeper looked well dodgy to me as well. You have some quality up front but on today's evidence little else, I suppose you missed Thompson as we totally bossed the midfield.

It wasn't our day, we'll play worse and win a game 4-0 this season.

Good day though and the way the Leeds fans get behind your team has be applauded.

You Poolies are a good bunch and you helped create another top atmosphere at ER .......

But have you never sneaked a game you shouldnt have?! Come on lads, we've ad enuff shite decisions and bad luck in the last few years to take whatever luck we get now.

You bossed the 2nd half no prob, but if you dont put the ball in the net then you dont win games - end of. I think I'd swap 2 strikers who are gonna be worth 40 goals this season for some tidy stuff with no end result.

No doubt you were best team we played this year though.

Good luck for rest of season .... 2nd behind us doesnt sound too bad eh

The ref was terrible, the worst was the blatant push by Kandol in the first half which both him and his linesman who was looking straight at it, missed.

Where do they get these goons from?

Prutton must have got away with about five fouls without a booking, shortly after Nelson's booking he took out one of our lads totally off the ball and didn't get booked!!

I'm glad he didn't have any major decisions to make as I'm he'd have gotten them wrong.

Your glasses are rose tinted - the ref gave you everything including 4 minutes to salvage it at the end (there was no stoppage time). Couldn't see the alleged handball from the kop but saw many other dodgy decisons particularly during your brief spell on top in the first half.

As predicted - power beat your brazilians. It takes time to acclimatise to this league but you should be ok

We were sayinmg exactly the same about him at half time and at the end of the game.

Dunno about any handball, and don't care to be honest.

Don't go down the self pity line. It happens to all clubs. Will you be so candid when you fluke one at some stage or another? Of course you won't.

Get two strikers and you're cooking on gas. Until then you're vulnerable.

I'm not suggesting for a second that his decisions influenced the result, to my knowledge he never missed any of the open goals but he was still utterly cack. I did say I'm glad he didn't have a big call to make I'm not so sure about the hand ball I was in the corner but those behind the goal seemed adamant. I'm sure he got as much wrong the other way, its just you only remember the decisions that go against you. I actually remember saying once "that was never a free kick" when we had been awarded one.

He was as I said cack probably for both teams.

Would you be any different? Seems we dominated the 2nd half loads of chances & came home with nothing - under the same circumstances would you really be any different to us?

and you are clearly so accustomed to cheating in leeds that you overlook the times when the ball went into your section of the crowd and they refused to give it back ( is this a yorkshire thing, cos they do it at barnsley a lot ), your fat pilsbury ball boys that ignored balls instead of going and getting them once you went in front, and the 3 seperate occassions that your cheat of a keeper was warned for blatant time wasting, though of course the spineless homer in charge refused to show him the yellow he deserved.

if theres a god he will have got home to find his house had burned down.

I like it! clappp

Oh slap yourselves in the face with a wet haddock and get on with it FFS.

I had no idea from what went on on here pre-match just how much the victim mentality was ingrained.

Tell you what...you have 41 more games to prove how good you are. Go and set the world to rights that way and make yesterday's travesty (sic) an irrelevance.

Losing with grace is very difficult I find.
