A crowd of 4000 plus is not too bad. If we can string together a sequence of results the numbers will go up.

Looks like about 4100 home supporters, anyone know how that compares with last seasons first home game?

Sure it was 5000 with 400 Gateshead after a opening day defeat at Barnet.

And this new team is made out to be a mega improvement from last season.

So it's fair to say the price rises and cost of living which is set to soar even higher about autumn budget time has kicked in already.

But we still have excellent support and there's no bankrolled clubs this season.

My take hasn't changed.
It's still a no excuse now or never season to get back to the bottom division of the Efl.

they might give it a go but doubt many will stay no matter what the results are if we do not show more attacking intent even before the sending off. gritty determination might keep regulars happy but not fair weather fans who want a bit more than that for their money.

I thought we were really starting to impose ourselves in the last 20 mins of the first half and had we kept 11 on the pitch we would have continued that in the 2nd half with more attacking intent. One of the travelling supporters on one of their message boards said they'd have snapped your hand off if you'd offered them a point at half time.

It was posted on the facebook page - wasnt far off 5k good turnout.

Dodds again was missed yday and when Charman went off it disrupted the plan A - we unfortunately had to witness a fight for survival.

It happens and no doubt will happen again but its a clean sheet and a point - we will get better and im sure DS is working hard this week on what we didnt do correctly - On another day Mani D and Campbell both score and we walk away 2-0 happy.

need another winger though and potentially another No9 to come on inplace of Mani D (hoping Madine signs this week)

C,Mon Kevin

Before the season started
If you were offered 2 clean sheets from the first 2 games, Would you not have taken them.

I would, Little steps Kevin, Team are still finding their feet.
