Is going to have it's first meeting soon (don't expect an invite). This is my edit of what HUST has to say about it (leaving out some of the stuff they always say  )

"We believe supporter engagement is essential. Our fans have a wealth of experience, expertise and commitment that they could offer but, in reality, many feel more distant from our club than they ever have before. This is reflected in a decrease in season ticket sales compared to last year. Of course, there may be many factors contributing to this but one is surely the widespread concern the decision making that has led to a repeated churn of managers and players. Combined with changing intentions about selling the club it contributes to a sense of limited ambitions.

Open, transparent, two-way conversations between the club and the owner might be a way of tackling this disconnect. We’d like to go to a fans’ forum alongside other supporters’ groups where we could ask why the accounts for financial year 2022-2023 show a £750,000 loss at one of the better supported clubs at our level? Or are we financially secure or could debts threaten our existence? And when the club says the operating deficit of circa 1 million will be “ultimately supported and funded by the Chairman” does this mean increased debt to Clarence 18?

Unfortunately, the new supporters’ forum that Pools are launching, which we have been invited to join, appears not to offer any of this.

We’ve already been told that agenda items will be restricted, largely to the ‘matchday experience’. Although for most supporters how the team and club are getting on are the most important issues, football related discussions and questions about the financial situation won’t be allowed.

Most worryingly of all, the announcement of the new forum also talked about expelling people who behave badly. We haven’t seen any formal rules or any process for expulsion so we can only assume that we’ll be asked to leave if we ask questions that aren’t to do with pies or beer prices. It also seems very odd for a supporters’ representative to assume that other supporters might be troublemakers when we all support the same team!

Still, our Chair, or what the club called “a good intentioned deputy” will attend the first meeting. We’ll politely raise the important questions, and then see how it goes."

Some wont like that, because they are asking serious questions on finances.

Twaddle will be back dont you worry, he normally reappears when a take over is talked about, he then comes on to try and make them out to be clowns and raj is god. Poor lad couldnt sing rajs praises any higher when he appointed Phillips, only for his pal tonditch him a few weeks later

Is anyone surprised that they're not going g to discuss that clubs finances? I very much doubt any club holds fan forums to discuss the club fi ances. The whole thing was set up in response to coming g bottom of a poll about fan engagement and the matchday experience. Looks like they'll be sticking to the remit.

Of course they wont discuss the clubs finances, they know that too but they will still ask the questions.

We haven't been invited to my knowledge but there again neither myself or Mr I are very high on Mr Walter Mitty Shithead's Christmas card list.
Plus I don't think either of us would be in the room for very long.
There will be a pre-prepared agenda for definite and the most used ruling from the chair will be "discussions or questions on so and so topic are not within the remit of this meeting"
I would like to think the exercise would be worthwhile and productive but somehow I can't see it.

Fan engagement doesn't just mean you ask what sort of beer you want on a matchday.
We used to have regular fan forums where you could go and be updated on matters to do with any part of the football club including finances, what future plans were and what beer you wanted on a matchday. It's an EFL requirement to have 2 of these a year but the National League has no such rules which is why the powers that be don't hold them. I don't think it's unfair for a supporters trust (or any fan group actually) to be asking questions which their members would like answering about the club which aren't to do with the matchday experience. I also don't think it would be wrong for them to be asking them at these fans panel meetings as it's the only place they are likely to get an answer.

It's all about ticking a box to say we hold forums with the fans so we must be engaging g with them. The agenda will always be set by the Chairman and I'd bet club finances never ever feature.

Spot on, it’s all just a sham, with a board shielding Raj who inevitably makes all the decisions. So many clubs choose to deal with fans this way but the ones that really embrace the fan base ultimately bring in increased revenue. Same up and down the leagues.
Honestly the tone of Walter Mitty Shithead’s WhatsApp messages and updates on twitter via HOOC is so techy. There’s no need for groups to be at each other, as sometimes seems to be the case. Have said it before but I’ve not been attached to any group until recently when I joined the trust (when the consortium was live.) Fair play to them for calling out Raj. That said it’s easy to see the good that all of the groups do at pools.

You're right but would it not be better to provide the fans with a bit more transparency than we're getting? Feedback on the matchday experience is great and helps both the club and the fans but I reckon 99% of fans would rather have things relating directly to the football side explaining. For example Lincoln City (amongst other clubs) produce an article every year when they release their accounts explaining what their turnover was, what their income was etc. which allows the layman to make sense of it.

Sounds like Presidents Question Time in North Korea where the questions to ask are given to you beforehand.

if set out as a proper meeting after the set agenda there should be any other business if the people attending all showed a vote of no confidence in Mr Walter Mitty Shithead over the topics discussed and no confidence in Raj to run the club and be honest with his customers (the supporters) what would happen?????

woudl that be bad?--not as though anything meaningful would likely come out of it anyway and removes the illusion of engagement

the clubs who have a fan on the board requests this fan to leave when financial decisions need to be discussed. you cannot expect pools to be different in a fans forum.

Most worryingly of all, the announcement of the new forum also talked about expelling people who behave badly. We haven’t seen any formal rules or any process for expulsion so we can only assume that we’ll be asked to leave if we ask questions that aren’t to do with pies or beer prices. It also seems very odd for a supporters’ representative to assume that other supporters might be troublemakers when we all support the same team!

what exactly is a troublemaker of what is bad behaviour. there is a big difference in someone spounting their own agenda and disrupting a meeting to someone with legitimate claims that goes against the party line and questions are either refused or answers not given.

Has a forum happened?
Was anyone kicked out?
Did the Fans Rep discuss the recruitment of Uncle Darren?
Did anyone get an invite?
Am I dreaming this crap?

It went very well, all 5 people who were invited (Walter Mitty Shithead , pearsons mate, his mates wife, his mates wife’s hairdresser and his mates wife’s hairdressers dog)agreed completely with everything
The club was doing and voted in a round of applause and 3 cheers for Raj and Uncle Darren

Wonder if Nick Loughlan will be running the show again, like that vomit inducing brown nosing job he did with the equally odious Dave Jones and Gary Cockall- Money?

Will Coco be present- assuming he's not been axed- or will it just be Crackling Rose?
