Starmer announces his first offensive to stop the illegal migrants by sending £84m to Africa to fund schemes to stop people from their trying to get into the UK..
His naivety is staggering.

Can't understand why all of the boat people are not just picked up and landed back in France as they did yesterday. They are not asylum seekers as France is a safe country.
Taking them back on every occasion would soon stop them bothering to try.

He doesn’t appear to realise they come to the U.K. for benefits, housing, free healthcare etc, bottomless pit pouring money into Africa where most countries are governed by dictators and the population never ever see the benefits of it. What happened to the £150 million the U.K. give to Rwanda, will they give it back ?

Better than Dover to King's Cross to Hartlepool :angry-tappingfoot:
To late now even if they clampdown on it which they won't.
Landlords are the massive winners out of this like

Dont be fooled by the mainstream media lies. The ONLY reason the migrants were taken back to France was because the boat sank within French territorial waters and maritime law stipulates that survivors are taken to the nearest port which was in France. There is no change of policy whatsoever. They'll be over in their thousands today because the weather will be fine. It sickens me. Tories did nothing about this and Labour will do nothing about it either.

possibly stopping them entering europe in the first place would work much better. its not as if they are all coming to england by a long shot. i,d guess without any substance though they,ll be made more welcome here than in many european countries which does not help.

Starmer is already preparing us for illegals to be ‘processed’ and not very many will be sent back.
Promises of sorting out the back log obviously did not mean returning them …..and all those alleged nuclear physicists and brain surgeons can start their new lives and careers afresh with take away deliveries and car valeting.

and the damage claims. on the other hand there has to be a situation to cause a riot or even a protest. 24 hours ago there was nothing. only problem is that a certain number of those living here are so quick to lose their cool and others quick to join them even if they had no interest in the original cause for the trouble. we need to be very careful knowing who are friends really are..

£84 million is a drop in the ocean. Then of course it’s split between African countries who let’s say are believed to be corrupt, so how long will that last.

The police ran away. Unbelievable? Not really, because the mainstream have spent years undermining and emasculating the Police till we have reached a point where they are good for nowt but guarding Just Stop Oil protestors and joining in the dancing at Pride parades.

Probably because all the new intake seem to have degree’s, the ‘rioters’ could scatter the police with a damp hanky.

Yep, the rioters dont seem to care if they offend anyone. Why aren't our coppers of the same mindset? Criminals are quite often nasty violent beggars. Our coppers should be the same except more or less tame when the occasion requires it. But nope, they're all feckin snowflakes.

thats what education, education, education has done for us especially for the police service which should still be a force. get back to the days when we were kids when coppers looked like coppers and we were shit scared of them but would approach them if it was necessary. even the bad lads felt the same not like todays boys in rainbows. there has been miscarriages of justice in the past but on the whole they got it right even a few well aimed punches in the cells for the ones who deserved it. next thing the german shepherds will be replaced by toy poodles with pink collars and a trans chief constable to make those in that carry on film look really tough.

Watching a report about the Secret Service in the States, when they caught sight of the assassin, they could have took him down before he got a shot of but if wasn’t his intentions to assassinate Trump they would have been done for murder if the shot him. WTF why was a guy running round the rooftops with a rifle, he wasn’t there to shoot rabbits.

Hopefully it’ll do more than the £320m the Tories sent over.

No chance, it never seems to ‘filter down’ to where it’s needed in Africa.
It won’t make a jot of difference, such a shame on a continent rich in assets.

Starmer was vey vague on what he was going to do and wasn’t pushed hard by a docile MSM.
Talk of Border Command…. a pompous a title to sound like it could change things when it was just another yapping dog with no teeth but looked the part to the terminally gullible. Then there’s the smash the gangs routine aping his Elliot Ness routine …only catch is the ‘gangs’ ain’t even based in Europe and when one goes down another one pops up
They gave the game away pre-election when they said they needed to get the illegals processed quickly to organise housing etc…which told us they were going no where…..and will their ‘families’ then be allowed to come and join them…?
We exchange one skip full of useless politicians for another skip full of shite.

It will be rinse and repeat, until conditions improve in their country of origin where the asylum seekers come from which it won’t they will still come, it must be worth the risk instead of living in ‘mud huts’ and tents plus financially beneficial and free healthcare. Once one gets granted asylum they apply for the family to join them which I doubt is ever refused.

But the majority are not asylum seekers escaping a country of persecution, they are economic migrants looking to get to the country which gives them most for contributing least.
