All agree
I think it needed an overhaul but a little strange to me the three we brought in all have the same profile ie can also play centre back etc, that plus feather I am wondering if we have enough variety so far, but obviously reserve judgment until I see them

i,ll believe that as well when i actually see it. feel it might only have been said because its what us fans want to see. however by saying that he,s made a real rod for his own back if fans cannot see it happening.

the fact we have not really signed an out and out winger is also alarming ?

pretty sure DS said he wanted wingers and plays with them....

not even really had any on trial either apart from that Mellor kid whos now buggered off

Seems clear he’s looking to play 4-3-3 with 2 wide fwds, who will be out of Grey Campbell, Charman and Mancini with mani D upfront

As has been said leaves us pretty thin on the ground when inevitable inuries show up

Midfield also seems to be light and full of similar types of players, hunter, sloggett and Sheron all describe themselves similarly and all have been touted as being able to play at center back, and we know already about feather and walllace

Maybe Mancini is shifted to attacking midfield roll but overall we look way way short numbers wise not to be having to stick square pegs in round holes after a couple of injuries and also lacking in terms of attacking/creative midfielders

Hard to make the case even with a keeper that this is a squad assembled for a serious shot at playoffs…..hopefully more players to come sharpish

Simple solution.
Club Doctor if we got one gives Mancini some speed drugs to make him Rapid.
He's skillful enough for sure.
UTP.

Pretty sure I've read all that somewhere before... oh, it was me ;)

And Mancini has always had an 'attacking midfield role' - apart from KP's experiment of sticking him out on the wing.

We need to get the doctor that some of the players the spanish football team use who is also associated to the tour de france leader, who has been breaking all sorts of records by ridiculous margins and making lance armstrong look a saint.
