Glad Tom is fixed up - no surprise that he speaks well of Pools and us fans in that interview. No doubt he'll try a couple of rockets from outside the box when he comes up against Pools and it'll be no surprise if one of them goes in.

it would as i feel scoring goals with the chances he gets could have been one of the reasons he didn,t get a new contract. if they do well so will he and the opposite. will always think of him as a good player when we were having a good game but a liability when we were not.

Wonder if Sarll was involved in the decision to let Tom go - or was it down to Mr Walter Mitty Shithead?

not sure but if the fans had voted on his departure i think it would have been a close call if they took his whole time at the club into consideration.

True, but you forget - Mr Walter Mitty Shithead represents us.

Would've thought he'd fit I to Sarlls style no problem so probably decided before he was appointed.

Why mention Mr Walter Mitty Shithead (whoever he is) Crawford was a big part of a poor midfield and as Mr A says split the supporters. I think this is just an anti Walter Mitty Shithead post.

You can only assume that Lenny Lawrence had a very big say in the retained list. KP was out of the picture when it was announced, Tony Sweeney wasn't but was a dead man walking in terms of his own future at Pools. Sarll might have seen a few games or even videos of a lot of games, but the man on the spot was auld Len.

Incidentally, Lenny's own role seems to have changed since Sarll brought his coaching team in. On the OS he's only listed as a member of the Board now.
