Just been talking to the groundsman at Hartlepool f.c. and asked how many tickets had been sold so far. He said around 1800 ...I asked what the limit was for ticket sales sctatchinghead He laughed and said everyone who wants a ticket gets a ticket it's unlimited sctatchinghead He showed me a huge white beer tent put up especially for this game. He said its a case of " fill ya boots " while you can for them. This is a huge game for them and a real chance to make a small fortune. To be fair to them they are taking full advantage with the club bar and now the beer tent   They will probably get over £12,000 for tickets and £1 a pint & the food so should make well over £20,000 profit. I was thinking this could be the biggest away crowd for a friendly in our history. sctatchinghead

Maybe we can poach their Commercial Manager.
Sounds like a ambitious well run club.
Good luck to them.

Do you mean £1 a pint is profit or the beer is on sale at a £1 a pint? Record crowd and Guinness Book of Records entry for the longest queue for the bogs in history if it's the latter.
