He couldn’t ‘explode’ if you put an Exocet up his arse…best part so far is my Bratwurst before the kick off.

They're actually getting worse as the tournament progresses, didn't think it was possible. Nobody appears to want to get in the final 3rd and create stuff for Kane - yes he is actually on the pitch.

I want to turn the TV off but my daughter won't let me. Her favourite player is going to score - Harry Kane. Shows she know nothing about football.

Just like watching Pools- the last two seasons. Knocking it round the back 4, no urgency, anonymous midfield and forwards lacking service- another truly insipid performance against a pub team!

Just before we scored I said we have descended to fourth division tactics i.e Long throws and surely enough we scored from one.

A classic case of daylight robbery.
But the Slovaks will rue missing that open goal from 50 yards out!
Get Foden off free kicks n corners and unbelievably we can still win it.

I’ll be honest, when we got that late equaliser and the stupid fecking commentators started praising them I boiled over grabbed the leads grabbed the car keys and fucked right off to the beach for an hour to cool down,.
Three dire performances on the trot and clueless Southgate got the get out of jail card again…the whole outfit should be embarrassed.

Just shows how out of touch the players are with the real world.
How Bellingham had the audacity to have a go at the critics in his after match interview is beyond belief.

The f*cking whole squad should have matchsticks stuck in their eyes and be forced to watch the videos of the entire match on repeat for 24 hours then come on tv and apologise for the utter shite they've served up. I've heard and read nothing from the pundits that hasn't been warranted.

He will still start with the same team next game because he is clueless and incapable of seeing what every other person in the country can. They all seem to feel vindicated because they won but neglect the fact that if he started with players on form and in the right positions we would have won the game comfortably in regular time.

they are doing it the italian way. play poor, limp into the final and win it apart from this year. how many others have done it this way instead of storming the thing unbeaten and the wheels fall off at the wrong time.

He won't. Guehi has a 1 match ban. Pity Foden doesn't have one as well, but you have to get involved in the game to pick up yellow cards. No accident that it all turned around when he finally got subbed off

Yeah forgot about that second yellow card. I blame Fodens other half, she could have timed having her baby better so he missed the game.

The basic ingredient missing in the England set up is creativity. That is why Foden and Kane are struggling, lack of service.
Take Foden for instance, At Man City he has De Bruyne and Rodri creating chance after chance and the law of averages dictates that some of those chances will be taken.
It's alright pundits screaming for England players to reproduce their club form, without taking into account that, at their clubs, their most influential team mates and their managers are mostly non English.
England haven't got players like De Bruyne, Rodri, Kroos, Friezman etc.
Where are the defence splitting passes????
Which is probably why Trent was introduced into midfield because allegedly he is the best passer of a football in the squad. I think even that is questionable.
Earlier I alluded to the lack of balance in the team and really it boils down to that. There is not an outstanding English midfield genius capable of unlocking these blanket defences in the country or, if there is, he hasn't been noticed yet. Grealish showed promise but is struggling to get game time with Pep at his club. We can pass a ball from side to side for long periods of time whilst the opposition watch us do it but as soon as we make an attempt to go forward the quality of passing diminishes. We also get into good wide crossing positions but spurn the crossing chance time after time. We are not the only ones in that respect as bombarding penalty areas with quality and regular crosses seems to be a no no with modern coaches, They would rather walk the ball in.

I heard Stuart Pearce commenting post match ….and the pundits were praising Bellingham for his ‘super goal’ and Pearce said in so many words it’ll compensate for performances in the three matches he’s played…OUCH!

I agree with Pearce. I am struggling to pinpoint Bellingham doing anything that created something for a team mate. His two goals are worth creditable mention but I am not drooling over anything else he did. He certainly doesn't come under the heading "playmaker". That's what is missing a genuine playmaker who can spray the ball around and create goal scoring situations. All the top teams have them. We need to find such a player.

Only a numpty like Southgate would play Bellingham so deep. He isn't a playmaker, he'd a false 9 like Havertz at Arsenal. That's how he scored 25 goals for Real Madrid last season. The solution's simple - play a proper winger who will go past people on the left, move Bellingham further forward behind Kane and use Foden as a super sub. As it is, it's like Gerrard/Lampard all over again.

got to admit though they are better than some of the blokes who talk in football jargon like a false number 9, a number 10 or a number 8 when they have say 17 on their backs. its just them being there to tick boxes that i have an issue with and not by merit.
