Heatwave Predicted..Isn't it about time these Meteorologist's got it right?..Are they working on the side of garden centres or ice cream parlours or something? sctatchinghead. There's a report of one coming our way every week for the past couple of months.

For all those getting on a bit..take care if you're diving into a cold river or lake nearby you to cool off..

It's not a heatwave though is it, it's predicted to get to 26 degrees. That's not a heatwave, it's a normal temperature for the time of year. We are getting brainwashed into believing it's due to climate change, so that the Government can tax us more, saying it's for "environmental projects". It's all a load of bollocks!!!

It's called Summer. When has a heatwave been 27°c for 3 days, it a few nice warm days. I read that the Government has issues warming for extreme heat.

If we had 3 years of 40°C+ I might be worried. It's been one of the coldest June's ever, but we are on course for the hottest June on record, even though Australia has had it's coldest winter in 10 years.

Some Greens now want no solar panels, no wind turbines or nuclear power….what do they want us to do the utter cretins, go back to the bloody Stone Age… so they can sit round the camp fires like a load of old hippies eating roots.
Also some of the animal rights lobby want to free all farm animals…the dozy sods haven’t realised they’d cease to exist if they can’t be used for food purposes..who wants a pet cow for walkies….thry’d all be extinct within a decade.
What a ‘fun’ future they offer us.

They won't be happy until we have nothing and I mean NOTHING banghead They want everything ..private jets ..big cars on empty roads.... Billion pound yachts... All the very best food avaliable...We will get 15 minutes cities / no cars or motor bikes / no boats no yachts no more holidays / insects for food. banghead We will only be able to travel short distances on trains / buses and push bikes. Even getting around our towns and cities will require papers just like in Germany in WW2. We have all been deceived and fell for it hook line and sinker. They give us TV / Computers Mobiles the Internet Sport etc etc to turn our attention away from whats really going on. They bring out the injections and we run to get them without a thought of what could be in them. They create situations to force huge price increases on the people we just accept it all. banghead Way too many do-gooders helping and way too many others accepting anything put in front of them. Now we are all in the same boat totally foooked. But hey we still have Internet and mobiles and don't forget Pools.

doubt the government would issue cold warnings if we had a cold winter and ways we could keep warm without the heating on. Far more die from the cold than the heat in this country but that does not help their agenda. Expect the bright shiny red to be pushed out by the weather forecasters.

Cant be burning wood, it gives off Co2!!!

Its just a tax raising and control agenda from the WEF to keep the plebs in their place while the toffs swan around doing their "green" thing, polluting more in a few years than hundreds of people do in their full lifetime.
Just wait till labour get in, fuel duty up, insurance up, road tax up, holiday tax up.
Vote Reform!!

No idea where you get your info from, read this report, particularly the last paragraph,

https://ifs.org.uk/articles/reform-uk-m ... o-reaction

Even with the extremely optimistic assumptions about how much economic growth would increase, the sums in this manifesto do not add up. Whilst Reform’s manifesto gives a clear sense of priority, a government could only implement parts of this package, or would need to find other ways to help pay for it, which would mean losers not specified.”

Before everyone jumps on me about me being a Labour Loony I am not, I am also entitled to vote, I am undecided who to vote for as yet but one things for sure it won’t be Reform.
Do the Reform U.K. supporters on here know who the candidate is for Hartlepool, a women who has stood for the Council twice and failed to get elected both times.

REFORM !!! all day for me - you have to think of your kids and grandkids in this matter.

not what will be better for the next year or so cos it wont happen anyways but putting these in charge and giving them a run at it puts the country in alot healthier and better future !

also did anyone see those absolute baffoons on top of rosemary topping over the weekend - some of our boat arrivals bringing their countries flag and replica AK47 to the top and making on like they had just over ran Teesside and conquered the promise mountain ! The plod decided to just give them a telling off and warned them of why it was wrong - any other man or dog did that the armed response would be up an either shelling you off the top or throwing you off in handcuffs. Countries and this area is a mess btw !!!

Think of your kids you are being ‘blinkered’ by Farage, the £20000 before anyone pays tax will make the lower earners £200 a year better of where the higher earners £5000 a year better off.
No one can physically or politically stop the boats, a link indicating who is going to better under the £20000 before you pay tax, at the end of the day Reform nor Farage will never be in government.

That’s why you need to to know ALL the backgrounds and not just those you detest.
Your favourites may have less than reputable history’s too.
A balanced outlook puts things in perspective.

Full Time minimum wage worker would be at least £1400 a year better off.
20% of £7430 would not be taxable.

£12570 to. £20000!
Maybe sky news promote fake figures. :o

You’re on the target there Kev, ther’s plenty of talk of the major media organisations and the other Party’s targeting Farage…plus the online underlings under orders….So he must be starting to be a big threat.

Yes he is right over the target area and ruffling feathers. If he gets the country thinking about what we appear to be walking blindly in to, that would be a great contribution.
I am getting at least ten e mails a day from the Labour Party, including Starmer, asking me for more funding and help with canvassing. It's nothing short of relentless. Farage seems to have knocked them out of complacency and their comfort zone. Maybe he is what the country needs right now, a good dose or realism.

exactly. labour will become the party for the rich and those who do not work. the rest of us, including pensioners, will be far worse off after 5 years of them than we are now both financially and cultureally. th only difference in who are in power with me regarding money is as a motorist i have always been worse off under labour.

Maybe he is what the country needs right now, a good dose or realism.

the good thing about it all is he seems to be appealing to the younger end of voters and not just the over 55 age group you might have expected. his party hasn,t a chance of getting into power but expect them to get the largest number of votes against the lowest number of seats in proportion as there has ever been in history of our parliament. not the total man of the people but a man for many of us especially ones who are not conned by the MSM or the other options.
