I interviewed her a few times...she and her husband were extremely down to earth and humble...Jane always seemed like she didn't know what the fuss was about. What an amazing woman...makes you think...

For financial reasons the Billingham Poolies won't be there on Saturday, and as die-hard Poolies we are sad about that. You have just given me another reason to be very sad about missing the match. I'm sure the applause will ring out loud all around the ground. As Tani Grey-Thompson said today, this country would be a much better place if we had more people like Jane Tomlinson in it.
