Last I read Beck was still under contract at Solihull. His first game back after injury was against Gateshead in the Trophy Final when he scored twice. Scored 10 in 26 games last season.

Always caused us problems when we've played against him, especially at Harrogate. Decent target man with good hold up play. Wouldn't be swapping him for Mani though, be ok as back up.

Think he would be good back up for Mani D. He’s on the transfer list so surely it’ll be a nominal fee at most

thats as far as i would go or used as a sub for the last 20 minutes for his height at both ends of the pitch. when you have a player of his ilk in the side it dictates too much how the game is played. he aint going to use his pace and trickyness to leave defenders or their arses. mind you would he have got a mention if he had played most of his football south of the thames instead of north of the aire.
