A poor season, months of god awful weather, plenty of time on my hands - it doesn't take much!

Of course you can have a different opinion…..but, the constant unyielding defence of Raj is wearing a bit thin…..Raj has a lot to prove so scrutiny is inevitable.
Jumping in to counter any questioning of intentions of Raj all the time is only lengthening the debate.
Make your point and leave it at that, digging the body up serves no purpose.

Evidence… sctatchinghead Would that be the same evidence I asked you to show me where I was Raj supporter….and got ignored?
I was criticising PTID’s support of Raj in the nicest possible way yet you chose the quote’ Physician heal they self’..meaning of which is…’you should take care of your own ‘ defects’ instead of criticising others’ …if that were the case no one would post on the board again…..’hoist by your own petard’…eh? Defending someone defending Raj.
I did at one time defend the status quo, out of the cold options before us, but I have eyes to see and the ability to change my opinion on the evidence before my eyes and not just on popular opinion…..I prefer to think.
If you can find any comments in my changed circumstances, let me know, but you’ll be pushed to find any.
How about reading a person’s posts and not just seeing a user name and applying the warped logic they’ll have the same opinion for this life and the next and never change.

Best philosophy is not to give a Fcuk if someone disagrees with ya.
It's only wordage and cyber chat.
End of the day it ain't face to face talk so we be lucky to have any influence on club decisions for the better.
UTP.
But it is interesting to read the different views on here.

Im still not convinced Parkes and Waterfall are as good as i thought or most believe, they still conceded goals for fun and their lack of pace is a bit of a problem, in our side. Maybe with better players it will stop the 2 or 3 goals a game we ship. At first they definately came ib and helped massively but that soon tailed off like most of our signings.

must be hard for any central defender at pools with full backs and midfielders not being good defenders. the majority of our opponents rely on set pieces and long throw ins where their strength in the air is important. with pools now at level 5 getting any decent loanee from a premier league or championship club now is vertually zero as clubs want to loan players out to the highest level they feel they can perform at. ours would be the ones uncomfortable anywhere above our level.

Priority for me is Goalkeeper and new midfield that.
Hence take pressure of defence n create for a decent front line of Grey n MannyD.
At least 2/3 must be available from Gateshead.
Surely they wudent knock back the mighty

I'm a Pools supporter and defender not a Raj supporter or defender.
If Sarrl has said he's happy with the resources available to him then surely we have to take that at face value. Its up to him and the recruitment team to spend it wisely now.

I think what managers say while employed at pools can be taken with a pinch of salt. Kevin Phillips was buzzing with his loans that raj allowed him to have, a week later they looked like rabbits in the headlights and shouldnt of been anywhere near our club.

If he is happy he is happy, no doubt come december he will say something different when he is out of the job.

Slightly worrying that the only comments from sarl have been i want to close the gap to the play offs and its a competitive budget. No talk of well want to win the league and not a mention well we should be in the play offs. Maybe he is playing it down but its hardly inspiring words from the manager so far.

He's updated since that.
Was in the Mail about 2 weeks ago saying there's a budget to get into the play-offs.

Woking have signed Timi Odusina on a permanent and paid a fee. They also signed Harry Beautyman and the Barnet captain Dale Gorman.

Well at least he has mentioned it, you would think any manager worth his salt would think that be the minimum.

I don’t do ‘sensitive’….just cold logic and facts.
I take the bother to read posts as the person has actually written them.
No offence taken…because I’m unoffendable…as I don’t even take myself too seriously, I’m not that important.

One of my neighbours thinks he has the answer to no signings yet. He reckons Raj is a genius  He thinks we have indeed signed a few players already and a couple are quality signings. Raj is holding back the news until the early bird is about done ...that way we will all be happy with the new players and go get a season ticket at full price sctatchinghead Also that makes Raj look good and people like me look daft on the bunker for saying it's dragging on etc He reckons it's a win win for Raj at our expense literally
