Two outsiders promoted Boston & Braintree so I reckon we can rule these two out of a promotion push next season. I dont think Sutton or Forest Green will be ready to push on in the first season. That leaves Pools / York / Southend / Rochdale / Oldham Halifax & Barnet for the promotion fight in my opinion at the moment. A lot will depend on who signs who but these should be the top 7 teams. If we recruit well we should be in with a good chance of at least a play off spot. sctatchinghead But let's not forget this is Pools we are talking about.

Dark horses are fylde and Eastleigh both who not to sound like twaddle are well backed by their owners

Don’t see Halifax doing anything tho Forest green might

Yeovil can't be ruled out either. Looks like they're back on the up again.

Whoops I forgot about them and Tamworth. But no team to my knowledge has ever gone up 1st season after getting promoted from the North or South. Also the standard of football is probably double so a huge chance in my opinion that all four will get relegated. sctatchinghead

I'll settle for Champions (100 points) and a Wembley appearance in the FAT- NO less!

Fed up watching other clubs lift trophies and have days out at Wembley - we've done neither - and are now ENTITLED to our season in the sun!

NO excuses, NO fucking about - the TIME IS NOW (Season '24-'25)

Doesn’t every supporter, but …….. it’s a target, or should be, no matter who’s in charge, but it’s not a right.
There is no right, just fight.

agree and really if we cannot improve by just 5 places from 12th to 7th at a minimum then something is drastically wrong. Keeping a manager for a full season unless they are hartley mark 2 in a must and surely we cannot have the same injury list again next season. think this season most clubs start at a similar level and their season will be decided on luck both in recruitment and on the pitch.

Thought that might get a reaction!

Still, that said why not aim high for a change - there's NO great shakes in that league next season, why not us?

Heard from the outlaws today, that it now looks that the long protracted takeover of SARFend, is highly unlikely to have been completed before their next High Court appesrance! The new (yet to complete) Aussie owner, has already put in 3 and a half MILLION with basically fuck all to show for it.

Also strongly rumoured that Gillingham are sniffing around Kevin Maher their manager - reckon that might be a possibility as he played for them for a year or two after leaving SARFend
Reckon if he jumps ship- they'll properly be in the Shite!

Realistic hope for Pools is a playoff finish AND a trip OR TWO to Wembley!

A Wembley visit is NON NEGOTIABLE for me, either in the playoffs or the FAT, preferably both!

next season is massive for sarll, the club and a good number of fans. if that realistic hope is not fulfilled the gates will drop below 3,000 in the latter part of the season. there patiance and there is patiance.
